Barack Obama supports this….. #OWS

The Occupy Wall Street (OWS) protests are everything (and worse) that the Tea Party gatherings were ACCUSED of being.

While a unified and coherent message is yet to be found among these lazy Leftists, there are a variety of complaints made by the “Flea Party” against their country, their fellow citizens, and their lives, in general.

And, worst of all, our President, Barack Obama, among others, supports the filthy display of these anti-Capitalist Leftists — from plain ‘ol lazy ones to radical ones — and their 1960’s-like communal camp-outs.

It’s the kind of display that hard-working, proud Americans do not engage in.  They don’t have “weeks” to sit in filth with their topless brethren and bitch about something….anything….especially things they know nothing about.

Barack Obama supports this bunch of anti-capitalist useful idiots along with Marxist Van Jones, Al Gore, Joe Biden, Nancy PelosiJohn Larson, Louise Slaughter, Muslim Keith Ellison, Jeff Merkley, Russ Feingold, and more.

And let’s not even talk about who is financing and organizing this astroturfed conglomeration of idiots.  I’ll list SOME of them because the astroturf financiers and “organizers” are another story unto themselves:

Here is your Democrat-supported (from the President on down) “protest” in action— and just imagine if the Tea Party protesters had ACTUALLY engaged in only 1% of this behavior (which they never did):

USCG warns staff after Occupy Boston protesters spit on Coast Guard officer

Disgusting behavior exhibited by the “Occupy Wall Street” protesters are on full display in New York as trash and debris pile-up on public streets. The disgusting conditions coupled with the group’s anti-authority attitude resulted in one unidentified protester defecating on an NYPD patrol car.

Hackers threaten Wall Street

– According to this speaker in LA, violence and bloodshed will be necessary:

“So, ultimately, the bourgeoisie won’t go without violent means. Revolution! Yes, revolution that is led by the working class.  Long live revolution! Long live socialism!”

– Creepy, funky chants like “I can have sex with animals or whatever“…. (Frankly, I’m ashamed these robots in this video call themselves Americans!)

Millions and millions of tax-payer dollars are being spent to clean up after these animals.

Protestors claim the “Jews” control Wall Street in anti-semetic rant

Protesters march on Wall St. after park cleanup postponed, get into scuffle with  cops

Police Clash With “Occupy Denver” Protesters, Dozens Arrested

 – More creepy Left Wing chanting led by community organizer who travels the globe to provoke violence for destabilizing governments

There is so much more going on daily with these Leftists…..but that last bullet point should unnerve the majority America-loving citizens of this country.

Ed Morrissey at HotAir.com summed up the hypocritical media and politicians on the issue of the Flea Party vs. the Tea Party:

Had even one Tea Party rally resulted in 140 arrests, defecation on police cars, speakers calling for a violent French Revolution-style change in society, or members of the military getting attacked with spit and epithets, would the national media have offered such a balanced report — or would the media have used any of these incidents to warn America about the latent hate and violence in the movement?

Quote of the Day – “The modern Democrat Party is little more than a slightly evolved pack of locusts…..”

This comes from Doug Ross at Journal and clearly states the truth of the Democrat’s destruction of our country:

The modern Democrat Party is little more than a slightly evolved pack of locusts, moving from one state to another, destroying everything they touch. By 2020, the U.S. debt — even without socialized medicine — will exceed $20 trillion. This means the annual interest payments will hit nearly $1 trillion, or about one-third of the entire U.S. budget.

The President and his Democrat sycophants in Congress are literally eradicating the economic fabric of the United States. All we’ve worked for. What our parents and grandparents fought to defend. It doesn’t matter what industry you work in — coal, gas, electric, insurance, finance, pharma, telecommunications, health care — it doesn’t matter whether you’re in a union or not — the Democrats are targeting your jobs. They’ve said so: they relentlessly condemn the very profits that pay your salaries. Because they despise free enterprise and individual liberty. They want control; and your business stands in the way of their bureaucrats taking the reins. Orchestrating the economy, doling out favors, punishing enemies, rewarding friends and stealing more and more of your private property in the form of extra-constitutional taxes. They want Chicago-style Democracy, only across the entire United States.

It’s happening right before our eyes.

80 years of Democrat Ponzi schemes are unraveling. Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, the “Great Society” Welfare State, Chain Migration of Illegal Aliens — schemes so outrageous, so catastrophic in scope, that they would make Bernard Madoff blush.

You can read all of it at The only ‘Green Jobs’ this President will save or create are in the rice fields.

An even more appropriate “Question and Answer of the Day”

Courtesy of one of Michelle Malkin’s readers, we now have an even more appropriate “Sign of the Day”.

YES!

Question of the Day — and the Answer

Miss me yet?

from NPR:

There is a billboard along I-35 near Wyoming, Minn., with a huge photo of former president George W. Bush and this question: “Miss Me Yet?”….

……Mary Teske, the general manager of Schubert & Hoey Outdoor Advertising reports, “The Bush Miss Me Yet? billboard was paid for by a group of small business owners who feel like Washington is against them. They wish to remain anonymous. They thought it was a fun way of getting out their message.

Miss George W Bush yet?

Let’s see……

I could go on an on…..

Do I miss George W Bush, warts and all?  Damn right I do.

Rush to Obama: “I’ll tell you, you are not a leader. You are an agitator and an organizer…”

Rush Limbaugh to Obama:  “I’ll tell you, you are not a leader. You are an agitator and an organizer”

Nail —- > Head.

Rush has penned a great letter to Obama that he read on his show today.  Audio here.

Transcript below.  Here is the transcript on Rush’s site – (H/T: Gateway Pundit).  Read it all.  Rush is not holding back and is spot-on.

I penned a message to Obama that I would like to deliver now. Because Mr. Obama, I think it’s time we had a heart to heart talk. Let me be the father that you never had or never really knew, because I think you need some guidance. It’s time to man up. It’s time to grow up. That speech last night was an embarrassment. You couldn’t focus, you lashed out in all directions, you refused to accept responsibility for your own actions, and you were angry.

And he was, folks! He was mad. Being president is a big job. It’s a big responsibility. You wanted the position, Barack. You campaigned for it. You told the public to trust you with it, and they elected you — and you’re now president of the greatest country mankind has ever known, and yet you act like this was all coming to you, like you deserve it, that you’re better than the people you are supposed to serve and that you have no tolerance for debate or dissent. That’s not the way it works as president, Barack. We have a Constitution, we have checks and balances, we have separation of powers, we have states — and most of all, we have the people. You don’t get to impose your programs and policies on the nation and the people without our consent.

This is a representative republic, not a banana republic, and let me remind you: Karl Marx and Saul Alinsky are not our Founding Fathers. This is a nation built on individuality, built on liberty, free markets, and faith. Yet you, Barack, demand fidelity to a different belief system: A system that crushes individual initiative and free will. The president does not berate Supreme Court justices who are guests of the Congress and who have no ability to respond to your attacks. You’ve made such a mess of things, Barack, and it’s time to stop deluding yourself. It’s time to stop blaming others. You are delusional. You are delirious. It’s time for you to assume the responsibilities of a president rather than pretending to be one.

You’ve driven the nation’s debt over the edge. It is your responsibility to fix it now. Otherwise, our young people will have no future. You were wrong to grant terrorists constitutional rights. Even the libs in New York don’t want the trial there now! You, Mr. President, are endangering the security of this nation. Now fix it! Reverse course, and end the terrorists — all of them — back to Guantanamo Bay, where they belong. You are wrong to nationalize one industry after another from automobiles to banks. You are destroying competition and jobs. You need to stop what you were doing before million of more families go broke from your misguided policies. It’s not too late to stop this. I know you’re not going to stop it because last night you said you don’t quit, and I know what you mean.

You’re gonna keep plugging for the same agenda, which is going to destroy this country even more — which makes me think, Barack, that’s your objective. You know, Barack, unlike most presidents you’re dealing with a Congress that has super majorities in both houses, fellow Democrats. It amazes me that with all the talk about your ability to persuade and communicate, that you can’t even hold your own party members together anymore. Is that Bush’s fault, too? Is it is fault of the banks and the insurance companies and the lobbyists that you can’t keep your own Democrat Party unified — or is it a problem with your leadership, Barack, or lack of leadership? It’s the latter, Mr. President. I’ll tell you, you are not a leader. You are an agitator and an organizer, and a process guy, but you are not a leader. It is you who are doing something wrong.

The people in Virginia don’t like it. The people in New Jersey don’t like it. The people in Massachusetts don’t like it. The people in Massachusetts and all over the country have the ability to inform themselves outside of your sycophant press corps, and they are doing so. Members of your own governing majority don’t like what you are doing. I mean, this calls for some self-reflection and some circumspection. Has it occurred to you, Mr. President, even once that you’re not as cool as you think you are? Has it occurred to you that you are screwing up? And if it has, are you happy about that? Has it occurred to you that you have a great deal to learn and that you need to take your own measure, or are you Mr. Perfect? Are you God-sent?

Are you The One that you’ve been waiting for? See, I have a little concern there may be a psychological issue at play here. I don’t say this to demean you, Barack. I say it because I’m concerned. I mean, Tom Daschle was always “concerned” and I like the word. I’m concerned. You seem to have a whole lot of enemies, at least in your own mind. A partial list would include Fox News, insurance companies, banks, oil companies, the “special interests,” the Supreme Court, Republicans, talk show hosts, executives, anyone or any business that earns over $250,000 a year, mortgage companies, credit card companies — and the list goes on and on and on. You have the longest enemies list of anybody I’ve ever known.

These people are not your enemies, though, Barack. They are Americans. They are part of this country. They are part of what makes the nation work. You are not. You have nothing to do, and have had nothing to do, with this nation’s greatness. You can’t lay claim to greatness on any scale, not even rhetorical. But you have no direct relationship to the greatness of this country. You are damaging the possibility of further greatness. Nevertheless, like a bully, you continue to threaten all of these people. The Supreme Court, Big Oil, Big Pharmaceutical, Big Retail, talk show hosts, Fox News, the list goes on. You threaten anybody who does not agree with you. You try to intimidate them. You smear them. Your sycophantic media goes right along and carries your water. But this is not what presidents do…

Now all of the libs out there will persecute Rush for conveying his opinion about Obama very pointedly. Of course, those same libs are praising Obama today for a State of the Union Speech that was low on truth and respect and high in the amount of condescenscion Obama rained down on the American People, Congress, Republicans, Banks, Private Industry and the Supreme Court.

And there are those on the right who will wring their hands in worry about the “tone” of Rush’s words. You know…we don’t want to be like the Left are when berating George W. Bush at every turn.

But it must be remembered that when a strong statement is made about Obama, it is not the same as the lies that were perpetuated (and still are) about George W. Bush. Those lies encompassed false stories about Bush’s intentions for the war, his prosecution of the war, and almost everything Bush achieved while in office.

But, the BIG difference between what the Libs have done to Bush and what Rush has clearly stated to Obama is that the Libs had to lie about Bush. And then perpetuate the lies.

What Rush has laid out about Obama is becoming more and more clear to many Americans every day. Obama’s contempt for our country, its Constitution, its tradition and people who don’t praise his Far Left agenda is clear.
GW Bush has never had contempt for America or its people.

Thanks Rush…you said what I wish I’d said.

Every generation entertains a liar…for a time

Found this piece today that clearly outlines the last year with Obama and how it has opened the eyes of those who would not see.

…….Every generation needs a liar: a lost soul who will lead us down the wrong path. This is a good thing in an ironic way. President Obama is reminding us all that freedom requires struggle against those who would enslave us. Whether by skilled tongue or by deceitful wit, the man shows mighty oratory skills that belie a poverty of wisdom. He knows where this leads. The programs that have been enacted and are on the way all culminate in a totalitarian regime that would make Che Guevara proud and compel a nod from Josef Stalin.

The entire pieced is lengthy–says a lot of what I think but just never seem to be able to organize into words–but worth a read.

Some excerpts (my emphasis):

…..No one with a mind for politics really believes in a world where people share unconditionally or where a ‘Politburo’ will mete out justice on an even basis and a ‘Central Committee’ will order up the exact amount of bicycle chains to keep Johnny pedaling away until dinnertime. The advocates of the new social paradigm really want to have control all to themselves and are using the dim-witted Liberal pacifist ‘perfect worlders’ as useful idiots in their quest for national domination….

And:

….But I know something the liberals in this country won’t readily admit but betray by their very avaricious political practices: people are greedy. Self-interested is a more benign phrase, but you get the point. Most people think first of themselves and their families. If a bit is left over, they will give to charities and maybe volunteer at a soup kitchen during the holidays. But by and large, they are adamantly opposed to a wholesale redistribution of wealth on the basis of giving some sort of payback to the unlucky, uneducated or worse, the lazy. And it galls them even more to hear their Government say that hard work gives the successful an unfair advantage. Only a fool or other ‘morally challenged’ person would believe in legislating fairness or rewarding sloth.

And that is exactly what it feels like to the hard-working, freedom-loving Americans who have been lambasted by the Obama administration and the Democratic leaders.  Doing for yourself, excelling in your career, making money, becoming rich….NONE of those things are bad….but Obama and the Democrats are trying to suppress success all without being truthful as to their policies and plans.

…But there is more to this than politics as usual. The Democrats are setting up a form of government under the guise of ‘health care reform’ that may be well nigh impossible to undo when it becomes law. And they know this. This seems to be a suicide mission for the Democrats. But don’t feel so bad for them: They’ll have uber-lucrative lobbyist jobs in the medical industry. At least Harry Reid and Christopher Dodd will. President Obama will be a highly paid speaker at the universities where excellence is required of their students but dismissed as greed in the marketplace. Want a lesson in hypocrisy? Go to college and listen to a professor condemn capitalism while preparing you to excel in it. But I digress.

And as for that “fairness” that brings the hypocritical Dems power:

As more Democrats come forward and explain why health care is a Constitutional right and that the successful must support everybody else I watch the zeitgeist of the country swing right. What is the guy making $45,000 a year supposed to do, make do with less take-home as an illegal gets in-state tuition on the collective workers’ tab? And all the while President Obama speaks of fairness and equality. Every generation gets a liar who tries to subvert their way of life to support the drooling masses.

And about the hypocritical and “angry” Obamas – both of them:

How can a man who sounds so scholarly be so morally empty? As a young man in college I thought the professors had a higher moral standard; something to admire and mirror. Soon enough I learned which professor threw the best parties. It wasn’t until later — that I understood that high-mindedness is not the same as compassion — when I sobered up. President Obama is a true believer, and that makes him all the more dangerous. He believes in falling on his sword to remake the world in his image; and it is a Marxian image. Obama is an angry man, with an angry wife. And though they have achieved much (and who can begrudge a President for being called successful?), they are mentally beck in the ghetto. Although I still have trouble connecting their Ivy League educations with their populist rhetoric. They are adamantly opposed to success by hard work even as they are a shining example of it. I find it ironic that so many liberals work so hard and accomplish great things only to condemn the system that allowed them to prosper when they finally have attained their idea of success.

The only thing I differ with here is the  Obama’s as examples of “hard work”.  The Obamas achieved their “success” and wealth less by hard work and more by affirmative action, being a part of the Chicago machine, and portraying a veneer of equality, fairness, and “giving back” while their true content includes anger, radical ideology, anti-American sentiments, and elitism.  In other words, they are envious opportunists schooled in Leftist doctrine with a habit of lying to get what they want.

Essentially….

……A president who misrepresents his intention, agenda and policy platform is like a dubious gift to a truth-starved electorate. He is easy to swallow but, oh, the indigestion he causes! And as we choke on the hubris of this over-reaching Congress and Marxist President I take hope in the violent convulsion that is to come. The public at large will reject this sociopathic, free-spending government as it becomes more evident that we are in for a double-dip recession and a zero job recovery. And with inflation knocking at our door after thirty years of benign fluctuations, voters will be inclined to throw out the dominant party. This will not end well for the Democrats.

In the long run, the Obama Presidency coupled with Democratic power may be a blessing in disguise….the electorate is now awake….we are realizing that “freedom don’t come free”.  There are those in this world who wish to squish freedom like a bug….we didn’t expect, however, to be squished from within by an anti-American/anti-Constitutional President and Congressional leadership.  But now we see what can happen when we are complacent about the greatness of this country and the freedoms we enjoy.

In the short run, we are in for some hard times in overcoming this Marxist onslaught and purposeful reduction of American freedoms and financial might.    But it can be done.  I believe in the American spirit even if our leaders do not.

Must read: Obama, The African Colonial

Here is a must read piece by L.E. Ikenga, a self-proclaimed West African-American woman from Nigeria who dubs Obama as an African Colonial.   Ikenga’s family emigrated from Nigeria in the 1970’s.

This is a fresh, and likely accurate, view of Obama.  Ikenga couples her knowledge of the complexities and history of the continent that is Africa with the mindset of Obama and his African family history.  Very compelling and thought-provoking.

To me it also sheds light on how unlike most Americans Obama really is…namely how little he resembles the black Americans in this country.  I have more thoughts on this after the excerpts.

Excerpts below….but read the entire piece at American Thinker.

Had Americans been able to stop obsessing over the color of Barack Obama’s skin and instead paid more attention to his cultural identity, maybe he would not be in the White House today. The key to understanding him lies with his identification with his father, and his adoption of a cultural and political mindset rooted in postcolonial Africa….

The tropes of America’s racial history as a way of understanding all things black are useless in understanding the man who got his dreams from his father, a Kenyan exemplar of the African Colonial.

and

My friends, despite what CNN and the rest are telling you, Barack Obama is nothing more than an old school African Colonial who is on his way to turning this country into one of the developing nations that you learn about on the National Geographic Channel. Many conservative (East, West, South, North) African-Americans like myself — those of us who know our history — have seen this movie before. Here are two main reasons why many Americans allowed Obama to slip through the cracks despite all of his glaring inconsistencies:

First, Obama has been living on American soil for most of his adult life. Therefore, he has been able to masquerade as one who understands and believes in American democratic ideals. But he does not. Barack Obama is intrinsically undemocratic and as his presidency plays out, this will become more obvious. Second, and most importantly, too many Americans know very little about Africa. The one-size-fits-all understanding that many Americans (both black and white) continue to have of Africa might end up bringing dire consequences for this country.

and regarding what Ikenga dubs as the African Colonial (AC) and the African Colonial Politican (ACP):

The African colonial (AC) is a person who by means of their birth or lineage has a direct connection with Africa. However, unlike Africans like me, their worldviews have been largely shaped not by the indigenous beliefs of a specific African tribe but by the ideals of the European imperialism that overwhelmed and dominated Africa during the colonial period. AC’s have no real regard for their specific African traditions or histories.  AC’s use aspects of their African culture as one would use pieces of costume jewelry: things of little or no value that can be thoughtlessly discarded when they become a negative distraction, or used on a whim to decorate oneself in order to seem exotic. (Hint: Obama’s Muslim heritage).

The African colonial politician (ACP) feigns repulsion towards the hegemonic paradigms of Western civilization. But at the same time, he is completely enamored of the trappings of its aristocracy or elite culture. The ACP blames and caricatures whitey to no end for all that has gone wrong in the world. He convinces the masses that various forms of African socialism are the best way for redressing the problems that European colonialism motivated in Africa. However, as opposed to really being a hard-core African Leftist who actually believes in something, the ACP uses socialist themes as a way to disguise his true ambitions: a complete power grab whereby the “will of the people” becomes completely irrelevant.

Barack Obama is all of the above. The only difference is that he is here playing (colonial) African politics as usual.

Also, understand this: the African colonial who is given too much political power can only become one thing: a despot.

Obama doesn’t understand much about the average African-American family in this country, nor has he ever come close to truly understanding the lives of their American ancestors.  As this author points out, Obama doesn’t understand the first thing about America’s values/ideals…and, ever since he burst on to the scene, I’ve learned that Obama has very little in common with the average black American in this country, much less other America-loving citizens.

Of course, I know there are black and white Americans who believe in the Marxist view of the world and therefore adore Obama and his policies because of it.  Many Americans have been forever living in the Democrat welfare Utopia — which, I will admit, keeps those Americans in a nice little dependent place that fits right into Obama’s plans for our country.  They are a sure Democratic vote on election day.

However, in my mind, not much explains the average African-American’s adoration of Obama except that he is the first black President.   His skin color is where the similarities end!  Obama’s election as a black man is a momentous and a proud marker for our country, but his skin color is hardly a reason to elect, or continue to support, someone whose views and policies are so out of phase with the ideals and values Americans have fought and died for over the last 200-plus years.

Hopefully, Ikenga has helped us all understand that Obama doesn’t hold our ideals dear and why that is so.  Obama’s world view is 180 degrees from the view that our founders had in laying out the ground work for the greatest country in the world….. and Obama’s formative years, family history and beliefs are not even close to those of the vast majority of Americans—black or white.
