Obama: King of Excuses

Obama on August 15, 2011:

“We had reversed the recession, avoided a depression, got the economy moving  again. … But over the last six months, we’ve had a run of bad luck.”

George Washington:

“Ninety-nine percent of the failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses.”

Obama is full of excuses.  And empty of any self-accountability whatsoever…..As only Krauthammer can elaborate:

A troubled nation wonders: How did we get mired in 9.1 percent unemployment,  0.9 percent growth and any economic outlook so bad that the Federal Reserve  pledges to keep interest rates at zero through mid-2013 — an admission that it  sees little hope on the horizon?

Bad luck, explains our president. Out of nowhere came Japan and its supply-chain disruptions, Europe and its debt problems, the Arab Spring and  those oil spikes. Kicked off, presumably, by various acts of God (should He not  be held accountable too?): earthquake and tsunami. (Tomorrow: pestilence and  famine. Maybe frogs.)……

…A plague of bad luck and bad faith — a recalcitrant providence and an  unpatriotic opposition. Our president wrestles with angels. Monsters of mythic  proportions.

A comforting fantasy. But a sorry excuse for a failing economy and a flailing  presidency.

Obama is a miserable failure at leading this great country.  However, Obama likely considers his promotion of class warfare, socialism, government/business alliances, and record welfare state as success.

Obama’s success = America’s failure.  Gee where have I heard something like that before?

Look, what he’s talking about is the absorption of as much of the private sector by the US government as possible, from the banking business, to the mortgage industry, the automobile business, to health care.  I do not want the government in charge of all of these things. I don’t want this to work. ……

…… We want to promote failure, we want to promote incompetence, we want to stand by and not object to what he’s doing simply because of the color of his skin?  Sorry.  I got past the historical nature of this months ago.  He is the president of the United States, he’s my president, he’s a human being, and his ideas and policies are what count for me, not his skin color, not his past, not whatever ties he doesn’t have to being down with the struggle, all of that’s irrelevant to me.  We’re talking about my country, the United States of America, my nieces, my nephews, your kids, your grandkids.  Why in the world do we want to saddle them with more liberalism and socialism?  Why would I want to do that?  So I can answer it, four words, “I hope he fails.”  And that would be the most outrageous thing anybody in this climate could say.  Shows you just how far gone we are.

Obama has failed this country (perhaps purposefully, in my opinion) but has succeeded in much of his anti-American, anti-capitalist agenda.  That agenda means America fails.  It it not too late to turn back the tide but it must be done in 2012.

Obama must be ousted in 2012…..that’s all there is to it.

Quote and Video of the day

The quote:

Rush Limbaugh today on his show speaking about Barack and Michelle Obama:

…..I wouldn’t be surprised if the Obama had marital problems because—“They’re both in love with the same guy.”

A classic Rush “tweak” coupled with a little nugget of obvious truth – Obama’s narcissism. FUNNY!
Video and audio or Rush’s comment can be viewed here.

Video of the day comes to us straight from “The ‘One-Sided’ View”….where Bill O’Reilly basically laid the truth on a couple of arrogant, blowhard Leftists….

Vodpod videos no longer available.

And Babs, it is crystal clear who the pinheads are and who is the patriot.

Kudos to Bill O’ Reilly.

It’s not your money, “Jackass”

I have frequently marveled at the Washington math that says Tax Cuts = Spending.

Tax Cuts are just that. It means that we the people keep more of the money that is ours and our government gets less of it.

In a Capitalist economy, we should keep more of our money because our wealth/money is the engine of the economy.

But Obama thinks differently. His Socialist viewpoint is one that says our money is really government’s first and they distribute and spend as THEY see fit.

The President recently said the following:

“If we were going to spend $700 billion, it seems it would be wiser having that $700 billion going to folks who would spend that money right away.”

The $700 billion Obama is referring to is the amount “rich” Americans will keep without the massive tax increase that awaits on January 1, 2011. He thinks the money is HIS to distribute as HE sees fit.

The only thing correct about his statement is that if the $700 billion is to be left in the government’s hands, they will “spend that money right away”. Oh, yes they will but it will do nothing to benefit the economy if spent by government. Just look at the Obama “stimulus” for proof.

Keith Riler at American Thinker sums it up this way:

I thought I understood this tax debate – whether to leave tax rates as they are or to raise them. But when I heard the President’s words something was off, specifically his first use of the word “spend.” The President basically said that not to increase taxes on small businesses and individuals making over $250,000 is equivalent to spending money on those businesses and individuals.

This is an extreme concept and one that is best understood by analyzing it personally. Everyone understands that when I “spend” money on a charity or at the grocery, the implication is that I am using my money to make a contribution or to buy chips and beer.

The President clearly believes differently, that my paycheck does not begin its life as mine, from which taxes are taken. Rather, he believes that my paycheck begins life as his, from which residual amounts are beneficently granted to me for living expenses. He clearly believes that the yet untaxed portion of my paycheck is still his, to be “spent” on me at his discretion.

This is revolutionary. This is Marx and Chavez, and it is a stunningly honest admission of President Obama’s worldview.

Rush Limbaugh was much more to the point on Obama’s sorely lacking understanding of capitalism and the economy. Rush on his show 10/5/10:

…….That $700 billion he’s (Obama) talking about, they will use the money that they are allowed to keep to invest in their businesses and save or create jobs, which once upon a time we were told was Obama’s top priority. “Obama dismissed the notion that the well-off — he included himself — would simply ‘take our ball and go home’ if they didn’t continue to get a big tax cut.” He said if they don’t get a tax cut, they’re not going to pout, they’re gonna still be out there.

Mr. Obama, our imam child, they have already taken their trillion-dollar ball home and they’re sitting on it, you jackass, and I’m sorry to have to say this, but we have all of this pile of cash, how many trillions is it that the news has reported that companies large and small are sitting on. They’re not investing it in anything. They’re not buying bonds; they’re not buying stocks; they’re not going into hedge funds. They’re sitting on the cash, trillions of dollars. They already have taken their ball and gone home, which is why we have 1% GDP growth and 9.6% unemployment. They’ve already split the scene because they have no confidence, and they’re probably right.

This is where he’s an ignoramus. They’re not putting the trillion dollars into play because they’re trying to hold onto as much of it as they can before they have it confiscated which is what they think is coming, which is not confidence inspiring.

He’s a jackass.

He’s an economic illiterate.

He’s an economic ignoramus.

And that’s being charitable.

“You Picked a Fine Time to Lead Us, Barack”

With nuclear arms in the hands of rogue nations and Obama’s disarming of America….the healthcare takeover, the slush fund bailouts, bashing of our allies, and on and on…..Well, all I can say is, “You Picked a Fine Time to Lead Us, Barack”  🙂

So true, so true!

Rush to Obama: “I’ll tell you, you are not a leader. You are an agitator and an organizer…”

Rush Limbaugh to Obama:  “I’ll tell you, you are not a leader. You are an agitator and an organizer”

Nail —- > Head.

Rush has penned a great letter to Obama that he read on his show today.  Audio here.

Transcript below.  Here is the transcript on Rush’s site – (H/T: Gateway Pundit).  Read it all.  Rush is not holding back and is spot-on.

I penned a message to Obama that I would like to deliver now. Because Mr. Obama, I think it’s time we had a heart to heart talk. Let me be the father that you never had or never really knew, because I think you need some guidance. It’s time to man up. It’s time to grow up. That speech last night was an embarrassment. You couldn’t focus, you lashed out in all directions, you refused to accept responsibility for your own actions, and you were angry.

And he was, folks! He was mad. Being president is a big job. It’s a big responsibility. You wanted the position, Barack. You campaigned for it. You told the public to trust you with it, and they elected you — and you’re now president of the greatest country mankind has ever known, and yet you act like this was all coming to you, like you deserve it, that you’re better than the people you are supposed to serve and that you have no tolerance for debate or dissent. That’s not the way it works as president, Barack. We have a Constitution, we have checks and balances, we have separation of powers, we have states — and most of all, we have the people. You don’t get to impose your programs and policies on the nation and the people without our consent.

This is a representative republic, not a banana republic, and let me remind you: Karl Marx and Saul Alinsky are not our Founding Fathers. This is a nation built on individuality, built on liberty, free markets, and faith. Yet you, Barack, demand fidelity to a different belief system: A system that crushes individual initiative and free will. The president does not berate Supreme Court justices who are guests of the Congress and who have no ability to respond to your attacks. You’ve made such a mess of things, Barack, and it’s time to stop deluding yourself. It’s time to stop blaming others. You are delusional. You are delirious. It’s time for you to assume the responsibilities of a president rather than pretending to be one.

You’ve driven the nation’s debt over the edge. It is your responsibility to fix it now. Otherwise, our young people will have no future. You were wrong to grant terrorists constitutional rights. Even the libs in New York don’t want the trial there now! You, Mr. President, are endangering the security of this nation. Now fix it! Reverse course, and end the terrorists — all of them — back to Guantanamo Bay, where they belong. You are wrong to nationalize one industry after another from automobiles to banks. You are destroying competition and jobs. You need to stop what you were doing before million of more families go broke from your misguided policies. It’s not too late to stop this. I know you’re not going to stop it because last night you said you don’t quit, and I know what you mean.

You’re gonna keep plugging for the same agenda, which is going to destroy this country even more — which makes me think, Barack, that’s your objective. You know, Barack, unlike most presidents you’re dealing with a Congress that has super majorities in both houses, fellow Democrats. It amazes me that with all the talk about your ability to persuade and communicate, that you can’t even hold your own party members together anymore. Is that Bush’s fault, too? Is it is fault of the banks and the insurance companies and the lobbyists that you can’t keep your own Democrat Party unified — or is it a problem with your leadership, Barack, or lack of leadership? It’s the latter, Mr. President. I’ll tell you, you are not a leader. You are an agitator and an organizer, and a process guy, but you are not a leader. It is you who are doing something wrong.

The people in Virginia don’t like it. The people in New Jersey don’t like it. The people in Massachusetts don’t like it. The people in Massachusetts and all over the country have the ability to inform themselves outside of your sycophant press corps, and they are doing so. Members of your own governing majority don’t like what you are doing. I mean, this calls for some self-reflection and some circumspection. Has it occurred to you, Mr. President, even once that you’re not as cool as you think you are? Has it occurred to you that you are screwing up? And if it has, are you happy about that? Has it occurred to you that you have a great deal to learn and that you need to take your own measure, or are you Mr. Perfect? Are you God-sent?

Are you The One that you’ve been waiting for? See, I have a little concern there may be a psychological issue at play here. I don’t say this to demean you, Barack. I say it because I’m concerned. I mean, Tom Daschle was always “concerned” and I like the word. I’m concerned. You seem to have a whole lot of enemies, at least in your own mind. A partial list would include Fox News, insurance companies, banks, oil companies, the “special interests,” the Supreme Court, Republicans, talk show hosts, executives, anyone or any business that earns over $250,000 a year, mortgage companies, credit card companies — and the list goes on and on and on. You have the longest enemies list of anybody I’ve ever known.

These people are not your enemies, though, Barack. They are Americans. They are part of this country. They are part of what makes the nation work. You are not. You have nothing to do, and have had nothing to do, with this nation’s greatness. You can’t lay claim to greatness on any scale, not even rhetorical. But you have no direct relationship to the greatness of this country. You are damaging the possibility of further greatness. Nevertheless, like a bully, you continue to threaten all of these people. The Supreme Court, Big Oil, Big Pharmaceutical, Big Retail, talk show hosts, Fox News, the list goes on. You threaten anybody who does not agree with you. You try to intimidate them. You smear them. Your sycophantic media goes right along and carries your water. But this is not what presidents do…

Now all of the libs out there will persecute Rush for conveying his opinion about Obama very pointedly. Of course, those same libs are praising Obama today for a State of the Union Speech that was low on truth and respect and high in the amount of condescenscion Obama rained down on the American People, Congress, Republicans, Banks, Private Industry and the Supreme Court.

And there are those on the right who will wring their hands in worry about the “tone” of Rush’s words. You know…we don’t want to be like the Left are when berating George W. Bush at every turn.

But it must be remembered that when a strong statement is made about Obama, it is not the same as the lies that were perpetuated (and still are) about George W. Bush. Those lies encompassed false stories about Bush’s intentions for the war, his prosecution of the war, and almost everything Bush achieved while in office.

But, the BIG difference between what the Libs have done to Bush and what Rush has clearly stated to Obama is that the Libs had to lie about Bush. And then perpetuate the lies.

What Rush has laid out about Obama is becoming more and more clear to many Americans every day. Obama’s contempt for our country, its Constitution, its tradition and people who don’t praise his Far Left agenda is clear.
GW Bush has never had contempt for America or its people.

Thanks Rush…you said what I wish I’d said.

Another great quote of the day

From Rush Limbaugh, discussing his stay in a Hawaiian hospital last week while Obama vacationed just miles away:

“I kept worrying that Obama would visit me in the hospital. I’m sure the main reason he didn’t is that he thought he would heal me.”

Barack Hussein Obama…mmm…mmmm..mmmm!

A couple of healthcare ironies for New Year’s Day

Ponder these thoughts for a moment.    Both are related to healthcare and both are related to the irony (hypocrisy?) of those on the Left….

First, as most of you know, Rush Limbaugh was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday with chest pains.  It didn’t take long for the most rabid of the Left to wish for Rush’s ill health and demise. (NOTE:  He’s apparently fine now )

But here’s the irony as pointed out on Twitter (where much of the Left venom has been spewing with regards to Rush):

“The people calling for Rush Limbaugh to die are the same people who ask to control your healthcare.”

Ann Althouse adds a great point about the “Rush Limbaugh prophecy” on such matters:

Rush Limbaugh has said on his show many times that once the government runs health care, there is a threat that life-or-death decisions will be made based on politics, and people will worry that if they  criticize the government or espouse the wrong opinions decisions will go against them.

Ironic that Rush’s brush with ill health and the accompanying hatred from the Left makes that point loud and clear!

Second, on healthcare and the abortion language in the bills, Democrat Rep. Rosa DeLauro (Conn.) told HuffPo that “she might be willing to support the Senate’s abortion language.”   More of her thoughts about “death of the uninsured” as told to HuffPo:

“No one, no group, no individual should do that. 45,000 people die every year and have no health insurance. We’ve got to act.”

But, as Ann Kane at the American Thinker has pointed out (my emphasis):

The Liberal Left is as blind as ever.  Why can they not see the beam in their own eye?  They support the killing of 1.3 million babies a year for medical reasons, yet they are mortified by 45,000 people dying every year.  DeLauro crafted her language to garner sympathy, but didn’t say how many died because of having no health insurance. Where’s her remorse over the millions who die in the name of reproductive rights?

The Left has a death wish for a man they disagree with…the very man who has been prophetic in predicting that very attitude……and the Left use “death of 45,000” rhetoric to promote government control of healthcare while supporting the death of millions through abortion they would like paid for by “healthcare plans”.

Geez….would make one think their every action and thought of the Left is politically and emotionally based and totally unrelated to principles they espouse, huh?
