I just finished reading a good piece by Bill Kristol on how McCain can win. A few lines in this article reminded me of the stated ethics and values of the Trinity United Christian Church (TUCC)….you know ,that church Obama attended for 20YEARS!
On Saturday, Obama criticized McCain for never using in the debate Friday night the words “middle class.” The Obama campaign even released an advertisement trumpeting McCain’s omission.
The McCain campaign might consider responding by calling attention to Chapter 14 of Obama’s eloquent memoir, “Dreams From My Father.” There Obama quotes from the brochure of Wright’s church – a passage entitled, “A Disavowal of the Pursuit of Middleclassness.”
So when Biden goes on about the middle class on Thursday, Palin might ask Biden when Obama flip-flopped on Middleclassness.
Here is the “Middleclassness” part of the values and ethics that were (at one time) posted on the TUCC website and included in the brochure that Kristol references:
Disavowal of the Pursuit of “Middleclassness”
Classic methodology on control of captives teaches that captors must keep the captive ignorant educationally, but trained sufficiently well to serve the system.
Also, the captors must be able to identify the “talented tenth” of those subjugated, especially those who show promise of providing the kind of leadership that might threaten the captor’s control.
Those so identified as separated from the rest of the people by:
- Killing them off directly, and/or fostering a social system that encourages them to kill off one another.
- Placing them in concentration camps, and/or structuring an economic environment that induces captive youth to fill the jails and prisons.
- Seducing them into a socioeconomic class system which while training them to earn more dollars, hypnotizes them into believing they are better than others and teaches them to think in terms of “we” and “they” instead of “us…..
I have clearly portrayed Obama’s church and his brand of Christianity before. Read the entire post because it includes more of the outrageous Black Liberation Theology values that Obama believes, or at the VERY least, allowed his family to be part of for years. The basis of Reverend Wright’s, and therefore the church’s, philosophy was based in Black Socialism and Black Liberation Theology.
It takes a giant step of suspending rational thought or a big Obama puppy-love mindset to not suspect that Obama believes or has believed these very principles.
As Kristol noted, Obama recited this very topic “Disavowal of the Pursuit of Middleclassness” in one of his memoirs…..AND the church that espouses this value is the one Obama chose to attend for over 20 years, was married there, and had his daughters baptized there…
So for Obama, whose church disavowed “middleclassness”, it sure is a big turnaround to now rap your opponent for not bringing up the middle class in a debate….
Or more likely, isn’t Obama’s “concern” for the middle class an election smokescreen for his socialist policies?
