Obama uh, Why, uh, are you running for, uh, President?

Obama tells a 7-year old girl in his audience that America just isn’t what it once was….and that he is running for President because he has 2 girls just like her and he doesn’t want them to grow up in a country like that!

“America is …, uh, is no longer, uh … what it could be, what it once was. And I say to myself, I don’t want that future for my children.”

And Video:

Isn’t it interesting how much he sounds like his wife and her negative view  about how she isn’t proud of her country?  And just when were those good ‘ol days, Barack??….Because according to you and your race-baiting friends America’s founders were racist slave owners and this country has been racist ever since!!!! (Those are Obama’s and the Dem’s  thoughts not mine!)

So just where do you want the country to be if it is not what it once was?  To hear libs talk, this country has never been great!

One important part of his negative view is that he doesn’t want his children to grow up with THAT future….I guess the future of the infinitely bad America…..But isn’t it ironic that he didn’t mind his children growing up and listening to a racist, America hating pastor for all of their young lives up now????

I find it interesting that Obama really didn’t answer the original question (Why do you want to be President?) in a very coherent or convincing way!   You would think that a man who claims he is what is best for America and the World would have all kinds of reasons to run for President —make the world a better place, make America even greater, maintain the Constitution written over 200 years ago, or something—-yet his reason to run is so he can tell a 7-year old girl how bad her country is.

To quote again one of my favorite cartoon characters, Bugs Bunny, “WHAT A MAROON!”

A  good summary on this at HotAir.com.

  1. Incredible. You’d think that someone trying to get a job like this would have some reasonable sounding response to such an easy interview question. No teleprompter, and all we get is unintelligent babble. Where’s the articulate, thoughtful, and intelligent candidate we hear so much about?

  2. Not that I’m totally impressed, but this is a lot more than I expected when I stumpled upon a link on Delicious telling that the info is awesome. Thanks.
