Obama has Pooh Bear; McCain needs Bugs Bunny

This sounds completely made up, but, sadly, isn’t.

The Obama campaign is now looking to children’s cartoon characters for sound foreign policy and national security advice….And who is this noted security scholar?

None other than Winnie The Pooh!

Obama’s aide, Richard Danzig, who is also likely to be tapped for National Security Adviser in an Obama administration said this today about his approach to national security:

“Winnie the Pooh seems to me to be a fundamental text on national security.”

(I’m sure that about now, Obama and his minions are saying “OH, BOTHER”!)

Well, I like Pooh Bear and all, but I always thought Bugs Bunny was much more patriotic and supportive of our defense efforts:

Hey McCain….I say Bugs Bunny for leading the charge on defense, freedom and the American Way!
