Obama, did you read your church bulletins?

Obama is trying to distance himself from his church and pastor and claim that the Rev. Wright of today is not the one he knew 20 years ago.

Well, just a few WEEKS ago here is how Obama felt about his pastor:

“As imperfect as he may be, he has been like family to me. He strengthened my faith, officiated my wedding, and baptized my children. … I can no more disown him than I can disown the black community.”

Keep that quote in mind as you read on.

Well, Obama and Michelle “The Grieved One” Obama made an appearance on The Today Show on Thursday.  Apparently, according to Michelle Obama, “we hear time and time again voters are tired of this” — meaning Wright’s comments and how they relate to Barack Obama.

From Michelle Malkin, another quote from Michelle Obama:

MEREDITH VIEIRA: Michelle, do you feel that the Reverend Wright betrayed your husband?

MICHELLE OBAMA: I think Barack has spoken so clearly and eloquently about this.

MEREDITH VIEIRA: But do you personally feel that the Reverend Wright…

MICHELLE OBAMA: You know what I think Meredith? I think we gotta move forward. You know, this conversation doesn’t help my kids. You know, it doesn’t help kids out there who are looking for us to make decisions and choices about how we’re going to better fund education.

Michelle Malkin’s reply to Obama’s dodging an important question is:

You know when Michelle really should have used that line? When she was sitting in church with her kids sometime over the last 20 years listening to Jeremiah Wright “conversing” about his standard litany of grievances against America.

More from the The Great Grieved One, Michelle Obama:

“They don’t want to hear about this division, they want to know what are we going to do to move beyond these issues,” she said. “And what made me feel proud of Barack in this situation is that he is trying to move us as a nation beyond these conversations that divide.”

Well, if “they” is the crowd that follows Obama around like sheeps to the slaughter, sure, they are going to be tired of the hate views being exposed….because the views of the pastor reflect the views and judgement of Messiah Obama!

As far as conversations that divide, well the Obama’s would like to make it look like some Vast Hillary Conspiracy or, better, the Vast Right Wing that is fanning the flames of divide….but that is simply not true.  In order to end the “conversations that divide” Obama needs to answer lots of questions about his beliefs, his church, and his relationships, not simply convey that “he is angry at his pastor” and vehemently disagree with him…..its a great act, but that dog don’t hunt around here.

So, Obama, wants to disavow Rev. Wright and his “hate” comments now and Obama wants us to believe he never knew his pastor to be that way and now it is time to move on…..little sheep follow me and stop asking questions….The Messiah needs to begin his work saving this hateful country!

Well….I’m sure most people have heard the slime from Wright on the news and on blogs, but I will bet most people have not seen the multi-page TUCC church bulletins published weekly.   These have not made it into the mainstream media to any degree yet, but they are hopping around in many corners of the blogosphere…..

So I will list links and information so you can see the anti-American, terrorist-loving stuff that filled the pages of the TUCC church bulletins for MANY years…..

Read it and then see if you can believe Barack “Sgt. Schultz” Obama when he claims “I know nothing” about Wright and the beliefs espoused at that church…..

It makes me simmering mad at the arrogance of Obama (and his media cohorts) trying to get us all to believe there is nothing else to discuss!

First from Israpundit….in great detail…the anti-Israel bent of the church AND the writings of a man named Mousa Abu Marzook.  The writing by Marzook is a republication of an opinion piece from Hamas, the Islamic Resistance Movement.  Hamas is designated an FTO (Foreign Terrorist Organization) by the US State Dept.

View the church bulletin here at BizzyBlog (this link seemed to come up faster than the Israpundit link).

Also at BizzyBlog is an indepth analysis of several of the church bulletins….This blogger has reviewed bulletins as far back as 2004.  Most of the controversial information is on the “Pastor’s Pages” in the bulletins.  Keep in mind this blogger also notes that all of the church bulletin “Pastor’s Pages” have a note that says, “Sermons copyrighted by Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr.”

Read the full post at BizzyBlog…it is interesting and worth your time.  Some choice lines directly from the bulletins are below:

  • One about progressive Muslims says:  “…most Americans are only fed a media diet on Islam as it relates to the “war on terror” and the Palestinian muslim problem in the “state” of Israel.”
  • From a pastoral letter on the war: “The war in Iraq is now in its fifth year. Justified as a means to end oppression, this war has imposed the new oppression of terror on the people of Iraq.….. Tens of thousands more innocent Iraqi lives are daily being offered on the altar of preemptive war and sectarian violence…. In our name human rights have been violated, abuse and torture sanctioned, civil liberties dismantled, Iraqi infrastructure and lives destroyed”
  • The pastors words on “White arrogance” :  A link here to the comments of Rev. Wright on “White arrogance and distortion”

BizzyBlogger also had this to say:

I have in my possession almost 100 other TUCC online bulletins dating as far back as December 2004. Although I haven’t read every issue’s “Pastor’s Pages” word for word, I have seen enough to be confident that July 2007 was not an atypical month — and that Barack and Michelle Obama would have to have been deaf, dumb, and blind on an “ongoing basis” to not have picked up a continual stream of what is, and remains, in Barack Obama’s own words, “completely unacceptable and inexcusable.”

Yet they continued to attend. Draw your own conclusions

Here is what Obama told Major Garrett on FoxNews around the time Wright’s videos started circulating:

And so you know, I think that the statements that have been strung together are compiled out of, you know, hundred of sermons that he delivered over the course of his lifetime. But, obviously, they are ones that are, from my perspective, completely unacceptable and inexcusable.

And if I had thought that that was the tenor or tone on an ongoing basis of his sermons, then, yes, I don’t think that it would have been reflective of my values or my faith experience.

Barack, you claim you don’t agree with Wright’s quotes and never heard any of the controversial ones…..but did you read your church bulletin filled with terrorist-loving, anti-American, anti-white propaganda?

  1. Check out my lastest on Wright’s “equating our wartime actions with terrorism.”

Believe me, there’s more to come.
