Obama’s “Hope” & “Change” rhetoric no match for his leftist, radical views!

Barack responds over the weekend to the criticism of his pastor, race and division in this country….

As far as his pastor is concerned, Obama seems to be trying to make us all believe that he didn’t know the radical views of  Jeremiah Wright — Barack’s mentor, political adviser, friend, spiritual leader — of 20 years.

A portion of Obama’s response (full Breitbart article here):

He cited videos of inflammatory sermons given by his pastor that are now being used as political ammunition against him—remarks that Obama has denounced.

“If all I knew were those statements I saw on television, I would be shocked,” Obama said.

Is that so Obama?  Did you never read the doctrine of the church or about the Black Value System that Jeremiah Wright references (he referenced it on Hannity & Colmes earlier in the month, as an example)  Did you not know those things too?  How, Obama, did you live in such a bubble where your church and its leader is concerned?

It is one of two things…..

  1. Obama expects us to believe that he had no idea of his pastor’s racist radical views and that these video excerpts are the first Obama has been introduced to Wright’s radical views (even though he claims the pastor is his mentor, spiritual adviser, friend, etc.) —- how can that be if Obama claims this church and this leader have led him spiritually?  Surely, Obama, you knew the doctrine of the church you attended for the last 20 years?
  2. If Obama is being truthful and this is all new to him, then BIG questions arise about his ability as President.  If he couldn’t see the person  of Jeremiah Wright over a 20 year span, then Obama’s ability to discern, judge character, collect the facts on issues and people and make an intelligent judgment are not up to par for a Presidential candidate.   Perhaps it is this weakness and lack of ability that leads Obama to believe we can “talk” our way to peace around the world with the likes of a Venezuela’s Chavez, Iran’s Ahmadinejad, North Korea’s Kim Jong Il?

Hopefully, these videos are just the beginning of peeling the mask off of candidate Obama.

It seems to me that, over time,  the “hope” and “change” rhetoric are no match for the true radical, leftist he is within!

Obama also had other things to say…my comments follow each one:

“I noticed over the last several weeks that the forces of division have started to raise their ugly heads again. And I’m not here to cast blame or point fingers because everybody, you know, senses that there’s been this shift,” Obama said.

Yes, Obama, those forces have raised their ugly heads in the form of your pastor’s words!  And the shift you are feeling is accompanied by the crack of the mask starting to peel off—-we are starting to see the “man behind the curtain” and not the Great and Powerful Wizard of Change!!

It reminds me: We’ve got a tragic history when it comes to race in this country. We’ve got a lot of pent-up anger and bitterness and misunderstanding. … This country wants to move beyond these kinds of things.”

Tragic HISTORY is correct.  The present is not so tragic, which is why you,Obama, are able to pull in a family salary in the top 2% of wage earners in this country and why you are the first black man with a real shot at becoming President.

I have news for Mr. Obama (and his America-hating wife, Michelle)—most of that anger and bitterness is being generated by your pastor (and those like him), who can’t move beyond his own race to see that most people in this country–black or white—do not judge by color as he does.  Granted, there are those in this country who have a hateful view of people because of the color of their skin….it is grossly wrong to do so….those people are the fringe.  They are not the base of this country as you (and the Left) would have us believe.

Most people believe we have moved beyond the bitterness….but YOUR pastor, mentor, and friend regularly kindles and adds fuel to the fires of racial anger and bitterness.

And directly contradicting himself, Obama had these things to say:

Obama, whose mother’s family was from Kansas and his father from Kenya, said he was speaking “as someone who has little pieces of America all in me.”

Obama said that pointing out racial differences only makes it harder to “deliver on the big issues we face in this country,”……..

He said schools should do a better job of teaching all students African-American history “because that’s part of American History”, as well as women’s struggle for equality, the history of unions, the role of Hispanics in U.S. and other matters that he suggested aren’t given enough attention.

Obama doesn’t want to point out racial differences in today’s debates, yet he believes we should have kids learn more about African-American history, women’s struggles, Hispanics, and “other matters”.

I guess some of those “little pieces of America” in Obama have more credence than others.  In a time, when most kids ( and adults) can not tell you basic American history and current events—when America was founded, who FDR was, who is Secretary of State—Obama wants us to focus more on the racial side of our history.

On one hand Obama tries to say race and gender are off limits and that is doesn’t matter, but on the other, he wants racial and gender histories to trump wholistic American history!  Apparently he wants to keep “his little pieces of America” separated instead of united…..

Funny — isnt’ it? –it that his rhetoric drips with a “united” America, but that is not really how he sees the world at all!
