Barack Obama supports this….. #OWS

The Occupy Wall Street (OWS) protests are everything (and worse) that the Tea Party gatherings were ACCUSED of being.

While a unified and coherent message is yet to be found among these lazy Leftists, there are a variety of complaints made by the “Flea Party” against their country, their fellow citizens, and their lives, in general.

And, worst of all, our President, Barack Obama, among others, supports the filthy display of these anti-Capitalist Leftists — from plain ‘ol lazy ones to radical ones — and their 1960′s-like communal camp-outs.

It’s the kind of display that hard-working, proud Americans do not engage in.  They don’t have “weeks” to sit in filth with their topless brethren and bitch about something….anything….especially things they know nothing about.

Barack Obama supports this bunch of anti-capitalist useful idiots along with Marxist Van Jones, Al Gore, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, John Larson, Louise Slaughter, Muslim Keith Ellison, Jeff Merkley, Russ Feingold, and more.

And let’s not even talk about who is financing and organizing this astroturfed conglomeration of idiots.  I’ll list SOME of them because the astroturf financiers and ”organizers” are another story unto themselves:

Here is your Democrat-supported (from the President on down) ”protest” in action— and just imagine if the Tea Party protesters had ACTUALLY engaged in only 1% of this behavior (which they never did):

- Disgusting behavior exhibited by the “Occupy Wall Street” protesters are on full display in New York as trash and debris pile-up on public streets. The disgusting conditions coupled with the group’s anti-authority attitude resulted in one unidentified protester defecating on an NYPD patrol car.

- Hackers threaten Wall Street

- According to this speaker in LA, violence and bloodshed will be necessary:

“So, ultimately, the bourgeoisie won’t go without violent means. Revolution! Yes, revolution that is led by the working class.  Long live revolution! Long live socialism!”

- Creepy, funky chants like “I can have sex with animals or whatever“…. (Frankly, I’m ashamed these robots in this video call themselves Americans!)

- Millions and millions of tax-payer dollars are being spent to clean up after these animals.

- Protestors claim the “Jews” control Wall Street in anti-semetic rant

- Protesters march on Wall St. after park cleanup postponed, get into scuffle with  cops

- Police Clash With “Occupy Denver” Protesters, Dozens Arrested

 - More creepy Left Wing chanting led by community organizer who travels the globe to provoke violence for destabilizing governments

There is so much more going on daily with these Leftists…..but that last bullet point should unnerve the majority America-loving citizens of this country.

Ed Morrissey at HotAir.com summed up the hypocritical media and politicians on the issue of the Flea Party vs. the Tea Party:

Had even one Tea Party rally resulted in 140 arrests, defecation on police cars, speakers calling for a violent French Revolution-style change in society, or members of the military getting attacked with spit and epithets, would the national media have offered such a balanced report — or would the media have used any of these incidents to warn America about the latent hate and violence in the movement?

Background on Barry Soetoro aka Barack Obama, Jr. – Part I

This is a very interesting video done by Bill Whittle.  As stated over at HotAir.com, he sticks to the facts, but makes clear where it is that Obama came from and what shaped him.  Video is called The Enigma – Strange Bedfellows Part I.

It is 12 minutes long, but worth the watch.  You come away completely understanding why Obama appears to hate this country, capitalism, and “the rich”.  It is clear, watching the video, from where his Marxist ideology was developed.

Now as you watch, just imagine if a similar video was put together on any Republican candidate or President.  And just, for grins, assume for the Republican, you can exchange the words in the video:  evangelical Christian for atheist, the words student of big business and capitalism with “student of Marx or Marxist”, and a “father who believed in taking land from blacks and giving it to whites” with the reference of Obama’s father writing a paper on “communism and the taking of land from citizens and giving them to blacks.”

If the tables were turned, that Republican would be ousted from the Presidential race (by the media) faster than you can say “fellow traveller” or “Karl Marx”.

Obama has a dangerous anti-American, anti-Constitutional, Marxist ideology, just like his parents and his grandparents.  But you wouldn’t know it from the mainstream press…..and many of his supporters still shudder when he’s called a Marxist.  Amazing.

Something to consider: A snapshot-in-time of YOUR country

As I’ve read and listened to the new just over the last several days, I just keep wondering what our country is and has been transforming to. 

As I’ve stated before, I no longer believe the fight in this country is between Republicans and Democrats or liberals vs. conservatives, per se. I believe our fight is clearly one on many fronts: good vs. evil, anti-Capitalists vs. Capitalists, immoral vs. moral, and haters-of-Americans vs. America lovers, and freedom suppressors vs. freedom lovers. This includes clear assaults on our markets, upon Christians, upon patriots, our military, and our system of laws. 

Much of the most recent news gives a great glimpse into the country we are becoming and have become. As you read these examples, think to yourself if this is the country you want now and one you wish to leave to your kids and grandkids. 

We’ve sat on the sidelines for far too long while we’ve allowed these assaults on our institutions to fester and grow. It is a sad state of affairs.  And the current administration and Congress has done virtually nothing to make it better and almost everything to make it worse. 

I give you, my fellow citizens, a snapshot of your country in the Spring, 2010:

A group of California students who dared to wear the American flag on Cinco de Mayo learned a hard lesson about the corruption of citizenship and sovereignty this week. 

They were sent home for their show of U.S. patriotism.

Bono started undergoing gender-reassignment surgery in March 2009 – soon after turning 40. 

In an interview last year, he said undergoing the surgery was ‘the best decision I’ve ever made’.

‘I’ve felt male as far back as I can remember. Life is short and life is precious. This is who I am. I need to finally be who I am.’ 

He explained that the entire  transition from female to male will take about four to five years. 

So far, his breasts have been removed and he has received hormone treatments to deepen his voice. And to his delight, he now has to shave his face. 

As one commenter in the news article stated clearly: 

“What should be discussed as a psychiatric disorder is instead being celebrated, at least by this nutty girl and a few like-minded gawkers. 

And another: 

“Anyone can be confused and uncomfortable, have pieces removed and foreign pieces sewn on, and take hormones to change all sorts of things. It does not change what you were created to be. It only creates an illusion.” 

Intolerance of Christianity and free speech:  National Day of Prayer ruled unconstitutional  & Franklin Graham disinvited to speak at Prayer event because of his views on Islam. 

Evangelist Franklin Graham prayed on a sidewalk outside the Pentagon Thursday after his invitation to a prayer service inside was withdrawn because of comments that insulted Muslims. 

“It looks like Islam has gotten a pass,” he told reporters. “They are able to have their services, but just because I disagree … I’m excluded.”

Kudos to Graham for defending his beliefs and Jesus Christ and hanging tough amidst his Biblically prophetic outright persecution.  Since when is it not OK to profess the Christian faith and belief? Maybe since Obama said, “We are no longer a Christian Nation“. More Graham: 

He (Graham) said he doesn’t believe “all religions are equal” and that there is only “one way to God” — and that is through Jesus. 

Asked if he still believes Islam is evil, he said: “I believe the way they treat women is evil, yes I do.” And, can he understand how some of his comments would be offensive to Muslims? “Oh, I’m sure,” he said. “But I find what they teach and what they preach and what’s on the Internet — I find that to be offensive, too.” 

Another moment in the press conference, he said people shouldn’t be offended because it’s simply a disagreement in what people believe. 

Last time I checked, Franklin Graham runs an organization for helping the poor, downtrodden, and abused.  They are active in Haiti, Chile, Nashville and more currently helping with disasters.   He comes from perhaps the most ethical of families but is persecuted for calling evil what it is.  Islam is not a religion of love and helping fellow man, but is an authoritative one of suppression, threats, and violence and one that condemns those who disagree with its tenets.  

Franklin Graham prays for Muslims with whom he disagrees.  But in Islam, Graham is an infidel and worthy of death.  Can the contrast be any more stark?

Of course, not all is lost in America.  I hold out great hope that the uprising of American patriots will turn back the tide of this assault on America. 

But reality is reality and these headlines are but a snapshot in time of our country right now.  Would the founders even recognize us anymore?  Just ponder the thought and think/pray about what it is that you might be able to offer to our country to change it back to what it was meant to be.

Even though I am not giving up hope until the last Marxist votes today (UPDATE after vote: 219 Marxists for, 212 Patriots against), I am ANGRY, frustrated, and sad for our country all at the same time.  The Democratic leaders have lied and bribed their way through this process.   They are arrogant and happy about running roughshod over our freedom, our opinions, and our Constitution. 

It is hard for us to imagine that our country is descending toward something similar to what we have read about in history books (USSR, Stalin, Chavez — name your tyrant or you Communist).  It is surreal.  But it is happening.  And many Americans are going right along with these arrogant people we call the President and leaders in Congress.   Many will deny it.  And many will call me crazy for saying it.  But it is true nonetheless. 

Even though the vast majority of Americans oppose this power grab called Obamacare, it is still astounding that so many Americans feel that something is “owed” them….so much so that they feel it fine for our government to take over free markets and give to them whatever they want.  But, again, it’s happening.

I am sick to death of the “always been a Democrat so Obama has to be right” crowd, too.  Ladies and gentleman, the Democratic party of JFK jumped ship long ago…and any stragglers went overboard in November, 2008.   I have encountered individuals who know nothing to very little about what is going on in Washington — but because they (Or their families) have voted “D” all of their lives, Obama must be the god he thinks he is!  It is frustrating.

<slap><slap><slap> Wake the hell up America…..we are on the verge of losing 234 years of greatness…..that is NOT an overstatement.  Read, be aware, protest, donate to the people running against the Marxists in Congress this November.   Get involved locally.  Work to get Obama out of office in 2012 ( if not before).

If America can be damaged from within its own structure…She can be repaired as well.

But put aside your family’s political history, or your bad choices, and even circumstances you didn’t ask for…..and know that freedom is not free.  And there are no guarantees with individual freedom.  Some people experience hard knocks in life, but it is still not the job of all Americans to be forced to pick up your pieces (Many will, thank the goodness of American hearts, but they should not be forced by mandate of government!) 

Understand that the lifestyle we all live (where the rich can get as rich as they want and the poor drive cars, have cable and cell phones) didn’t come free.  Men and women fought and died for the things we have and our way of life.    Our way of life is being threatened like never before from within!

Today is a Momentous Day!

Today is the day! Today is the day that all Americans see the naked ambition of fifteen percent of the population as they exert their will over the silent, hard working 85 percent. Today is the culmination of many years of hard work in swaying public perception, breaking down the walls of decency and building a climate of victimization and entitlement. Today the House of Representatives votes on the Senate Health Care Reform Act.

Never mind that no one has actually read this pork nirvana: this bill that nationalizes one sixth of the economy. Never mind that this bill is a slap in the face to all who work hard and don’t expect or would accept a handout from anyone. Never mind that, on its face, the bill is a brazen attempt to subvert the Constitution of the United States and assign obligations to buy a service and criminalization of the God-given right to choose.

The right to choose not to buy a service one may see as a bad bargain, or the right to decide what is right for your own body. Those who have eroded the belief in right and wrong for decades; who have literally made a federal case over the right to control a person’s body; who have cried that the state had no business, indeed no say at all, about what what one put in their body, believed in their head, and even what they did to their unborn children. Now those very same harpies have turned that tenet on its head as they grasp at the ability to regulate every aspect of what we do with the body God gave us.

A God they do not believe in and they do not seem accountable to. For we live in a time where the ugliest of motivations are cloaked in compassion. A time where the killing of an unborn child is seen as ‘kind’ as opposed to saddling a selfish couple with the ‘burden’ of raising unwanted offspring. A time where the lazy and the losers in the lottery of life are trying to maintain a lifestyle by taxing the driven and conscientious people who make this country hum with productivity. These are times that try the morals of men as those who want to invalidate hard work and drive have control of the levers of power and use that awful responsibility for their own gain and avarice.

Before you go on and whine about the poor and stricken and the addict who can neither care for themselves or have the tools to prosper in this world, know this: Life is a harsh taskmaster who punishes the dumb, the lazy and the foolish with scourge and tribulation until they learn to operate within the constraints of civilization. Lessons you don’t learn or fail to heed as a child will be revisited repeatedly until you get with the program, succumb to the destruction brought on by your own lusts. Attempts to rewrite God’s law, or common sense, for those agnostically inclined, will always result in an unbalanced society that careens hither and yon morally, until it sputters to a halt, mired in the ambivalence of indecision and relativism. A civilization that feels more empathy for the sinners than the sinned-against is destined to fail as the criminals achieve a critical mass and take the controls in efforts to profit from the moral decline.

We have such a state of affairs now. The ugly girl at the dance is now calling the tune, much to the chagrin of the highly offended orchestra. The drop-outs who threw stones at the University’s stained glass windows now are the faculty; destroying the ideas and ethics that made this country great. There is a joke in the trades that men teach their children to work before they go off to college and get ruined. The ability to define right and wrong is the hallmark of a great society and the lack thereof the talisman of a civilization in decline. The loafers and anti-establishment crowd of the sixties are now deciding the tax rate for the rest of us, and they are not amused anymore. They are out for revenge. Revenge on the ‘boy scouts’ who kept their collective noses clean and worked eighty hours a week and put their kids through college and took care of their ailing parents and saluted on Veteran’s Day all across this fine country.

‘Liberal’ doesn’t even begin to appropriately label these Marxists! They really are the failed Communists who sewed the cancer of relativism into our public psyche and tried with all of their drug-addled reasoning to convince the rest of us that drive and vigor were not valid traits and conscientiousness was tantamount to selfishness. That success was to be punished, or at least taxed to support the ‘less able’ among us.

The Democrat majority in both Houses and the Marxist in the White House are poised to enact their vengeance today on all those who ignored their pleas for fairness and charity to the losers and lazy in society. Today they can ‘get over’ on the corporate toadies and millionaires who rule over and abuse the working class. If it were that easy, FDR, LBJ or even Ralph Nader would have so changed the collective zeitgeist to such an extant that this latest populist farce would be ignored, even maligned by the healthy, prosperous and well adjusted masses.

Instead we have an anti-St. Patrick leading the snakes from the swamps right into the halls of power. Its ironic that the ‘most transparent’ government in history has hidden its agenda and blocked public reflection on its programs. Its ironic that even the President is not sure what is actually in the health care bill and more troubling that he doesn’t care by what process it arrives at his desk. It will be law, no matter how many seats are lost in the coming elections.

This rush to political suicide by an overtly socialist Democrat Party barely disguises the real intent of this travesty of legislative process: the health care reform bill is Communism. Socialism is a ‘cooperative’ between business and Government. Communism’s hallmark is the Government’s possession of the means of production. I trot out this aged mare to make a point: a government that can nationalize the better part of a native automobile industry is, by its very nature, Communistic. Such a Government should not be trusted to ‘nurse’ a substantially healthy industry. Period. If its too big to fail, its just too big.

If the Government can decide that an entire industry needs to be saved and defies its own Constitution to do so, then that Government is invalid and must go. I trust that the Supreme Court will strike this law as soon as the mountain of lawsuits start. But what do we make of a process by which a minority of the population forces its mindset on the majority? Under what authority have GM and Chrysler been seized? Its not Constitutional. And neither is this health care bill.

Yes, today is a momentous day! It is the day we declare war on Liberalism. Today is the day we record the vote for this Communistic legislation. Today we make plans to campaign against our socialist Senators, reprobate Representatives and power-hungry President. And, pass or fail, we will know who voted for our ‘right to choose’ and who opted for a ‘Stalinization’ of our legislative process. It works both ways: Freedom of choice extends to the right to choose NOT to do, buy or consume anything, for whatever reason.

• Bush loves America; Obama loathes America
• Bush was passionate about our military and their service; Obama believes they air-raided innocents and that the military is ripe for social experimentation
• Bush was a decent man who made mistakes; Obama is an arrogant, elitist who blames Bush and others for his mistakes
• Bush was thick-skinned amidst the vile and, many times, irrational hatred spewed at him by the Left; Obama is thin-skinned and easily riled and defiant in the face of those who simply oppose his policies, including American citizens.
• Bush led us through 9-11, two wars, and more with a $400 billion deficit in his 8th year (and a Dem Congress setting the budget); Obama has accomplished nothing positive in the economy but has quadrupled Bush’s deficit in one year, with an even higher one predicted this year.
• Bushes family and background  includes a WWII hero, self-made businessmen, legitimate admittance and good grades at Ivy League school, and freedom-loving people; Obama’s admittance to an Ivy League school is questionable and no grades have been disclosed, Obama’s family includes Marxists, Communists, and African tyrannical leaders — his background also includes a radical minister, domestic terrorists, and a childhood that didn’t bring him to the mainland of the United States until he was 18 years old!
• Bush is a devout born-again Christian who has been open about his Christian faith; Obama claims he is Christian while denouncing America as a country originating from Christianity and Obama believes the Muslim call to prayer is “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.”
• Bush held firm with his pro-life stance; Obama has been a proponent of partial birth abortion and infanticide.
• Bush liberated millions in Iraq and Afghanistan;  Obama’s goal is to enslave millions of Americans to a gargantuan government.
• Bush appointed two constitutionalists to the Supreme Court; Obama appointed a “wise Latino” woman to the Supreme Court who doesn’t believe in the timelessness of the Constitution.

I could go on an on…..

Do I miss George W Bush, warts and all?  Damn right I do.

Cheney–Lynne, that is–blisters Obama on his Cold War history rewrite, his anti-Americanism, and his ego-centric Presidency

From Lynne Cheney’s Wall Street Journal Op-Ed, straight talk from someone a whole lot smarter than Messiah Obama — On the Cold War:

There are two different versions of the story of the end of the Cold War: the Russian version, and the truth. President Barack Obama endorsed the Russian version in Moscow last week.

Speaking to a group of students, our president explained it this way: “The American and Soviet armies were still massed in Europe, trained and ready to fight. The ideological trenches of the last century were roughly in place. Competition in everything from astrophysics to athletics was treated as a zero-sum game. If one person won, then the other person had to lose. And then within a few short years, the world as it was ceased to be. Make no mistake: This change did not come from any one nation. The Cold War reached a conclusion because of the actions of many nations over many years, and because the people of Russia and Eastern Europe stood up and decided that its end would be peaceful.”

The truth, of course, is that the Soviets ran a brutal, authoritarian regime. The KGB killed their opponents or dragged them off to the Gulag. There was no free press, no freedom of speech, no freedom of worship, no freedom of any kind. The basis of the Cold War was not “competition in astrophysics and athletics.” It was a global battle between tyranny and freedom. The Soviet “sphere of influence” was delineated by walls and barbed wire and tanks and secret police to prevent people from escaping. America was an unmatched force for good in the world during the Cold War. The Soviets were not. The Cold War ended not because the Soviets decided it should but because they were no match for the forces of freedom and the commitment of free nations to defend liberty and defeat Communism.

It is irresponsible for an American president to go to Moscow and tell a room full of young Russians less than the truth about how the Cold War ended.One wonders whether this was just an attempt to push “reset” — or maybe to curry favor. Perhaps, most concerning of all, Mr. Obama believes what he said.

Lynne Cheney on Obama’s anti-Americanism:

Mr. Obama’s method for pushing reset around the world is becoming clearer with each foreign trip. He proclaims moral equivalence between the U.S. and our adversaries, he readily accepts a false historical narrative, and he refuses to stand up against anti-American lies.

The approach was evident in his speech in Moscow and in his speech in Cairo last month. In Cairo, he asserted there was some sort of equivalence between American support for the 1953 coup in Iran and the evil that the Iranian mullahs have done in the world since 1979. On an earlier trip to Mexico City, the president listened to an extended anti-American screed by Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega and then let the lies stand by responding only with, “I’m grateful that President Ortega did not blame me for the things that occurred when I was 3 months old.”

Asked at a NATO meeting in France in April whether he believed in American exceptionalism, the president said, “I believe in American Exceptionalism just as I suspect that the Brits believe in British exceptionalism and the Greeks believe in Greek exceptionalism.” In other words, not so much.

and on Obama’s ego-centric view of his Presidency:

The Obama administration does seem to believe in another kind of exceptionalism — Obama exceptionalism. “We have the best brand on Earth: the Obama brand,” one Obama handler has said. What they don’t seem to realize is that once you’re president, your brand is America, and the American people expect you to defend us against lies, not embrace or ignore them. We also expect you to know your history.

Wow! —  last week Sarah Palin called it plainly and correctly on Obama’s economic policy when she said it was immoral.  From Palin’s TIME magazine interview:

President Obama is growing government outrageously, and it’s immoral and it’s uneconomic, his plan that he tries to sell America. His plan to “put America on the right track” economically, incurring the debt that our nation is incurring, trillions of dollars that we’re passing on to our kids, expecting them to pay off for us, is immoral and doesn’t even make economic sense. So his growth of government agenda needs to be ratcheted back………allow free enterprise and the industrious Americans who run our small businesses and want to raise a family, allowing our families to grow and prosper and thrive, Americans who still believe in those ideals to get in there and effect change. I want to work for people who believe in that

This week Lynne Cheney correct Obama’s history and slams his anti-American views.

Perhaps we are getting a clearer picture of the conservative movement of the near future …..and it’s wearing lipstick and heels!

What Alinsky’s critics saw was the burgeoning of a national movement, the carefully manipulated construction of people’s organizations, which all had two elements in common: (1) a collectivist creed, which denied the existence of personal responsibility; and (2) an amoral dogma, in which all means were justified by an imaginary utopian end.

In what may be regarded as the most triumphant propaganda victory of our time, fascism has been scrubbed of all its Marxist roots, while communism has been scrubbed of its millions of callous murders.

This post-WWII propaganda coup undeniably set the stage for the early Alinsky critics’ most feared eventuality, that the massive organizations could be shrewdly adopted by a fascist demagogue, someone who could “seize leadership and control” and turn them into a “Frankenstein’s monster against democracy.”

But perhaps the most cunning propaganda feat in history has been undertaken for the past 8 years. As Jonah Goldberg expertly expounds in his book, Liberal Fascism, American left-wing ideologues have managed to dissociate themselves from all the horrors of fascism with a “brilliant rhetorical maneuver.” They’ve done it by “claiming that their opponents are the fascists.”

In what may eventually prove to be a devious rhetorical feat of monstrous proportions, while the left has been indulging and fostering the “Bush Is Hitler” meme, they may have just put a genuine ideological fascist heir in the White House.

There is inherent danger in making scurrilous comparisons (as were perpetrated unceasingly against George W. Bush), but there seem to be some very worrisome signs in the rise of Barack Obama that we Americans would be foolish to ignore.

Lesson #4 – Keep a concerned eye on the lessons of history

Call it what you will, but I believe this sums up the feelings of a lot of us who have at least a bit of knowledge of history and, apparently, those who are experts in history—read it, digest it, and you decide—-but ignore the lessons of history and evil at your own peril, not to mention the risk placed on the future of your children, your grandchildren and your country.  (H/T: Atlas Shrugs):

UPDATE 10/13/08:  My husband told me today that he thought htis particular post may come off as leaning a bit toward insinuating Obama is Hitler and America is Germany of the 1930′s.  The words below I retrieved from another blogger and they came from a commenter there…so heaven knows who really wrote it.
In re-reading this and also reading the great comments below, the post does seem to lean a little in that direction and it appears many of the historical facts are just not that accurate. I agree that Obama is not Hitler and America is not Germany. 
What I would like the objective of this post to be is a lesson in detecting the early signs of that type of evil and tyranny.  Again, we certainly don’t have the conditions of 1930′s Germany (mostly), but I think it prudent that we be cautious in watching our President-Elect and what we do know about him as well as the Far Left leaders we have leading Congress.  While we don’t have a full equation yet, and I hope we don’t get there, we can still continue to start adding 2+2 if pertinent in effort to thwart a changing of America like we’ve never seen….I think Obama’s plans, his words, his associations and the little he has done so far as President Elect leave plenty for us to scrutinize, object to and be concerned about…now read on:

I am a student of history. Professionally. I have written 15 books in six languages, and have studied it all my life. I think there is something monumentally large afoot, and I do not believe it is just a banking crisis, or a mortgage crisis, or a credit crisis. Yes these exist, but they are merely single facets on a very large gemstone that is only now coming into a sharper focus.

Something of historic proportions is happening. I can sense it because I know how it feels, smells, what it looks like, and how people react to it. Yes, a perfect storm may be brewing, but there is something happening within our country that has been evolving for about ten – fifteen years. The pace has dramatically quickened in the past two.

We demand and then codify into law the requirement that our banks make massive loans to people we know they can never pay back? Why?

We learn just days ago that the Federal Reserve, which has little or no real oversight by anyone, has “loaned” two trillion dollars (that is $2,000,000,000,000) over the past few months, but will not tell us to whom or why or disclose the terms. That is our money. Yours and mine. And that is three times the 700B we all argued about so strenuously just this past September. Who has this money? Why do they have it? Why are the terms unavailable to us? Who asked for it? Who authorized it? I thought this was a government of “we the people,” who loaned our powers to our elected leaders. Apparently not.

We have spent two or more decades intentionally de-industrializing our economy. Why?

We have intentionally dumbed down our schools, ignored our history, and no longer teach our founding documents, why we are exceptional, and why we are worth preserving. Students by and large cannot write, think critically, read, or articulate. Parents are not revolting, teachers are not picketing, school boards continue to back mediocrity. Why?

We have now established the precedent of protesting every close election (now violently in California over a proposition that is so controversial that it wants marriage to remain between one man and one woman. Did you ever think such a thing possible just a decade ago?). We have corrupted our sacred political process by allowing unelected judges to write laws that radically change our way of life, and then mainstream Marxist groups like ACORN and others to turn our voting system into a banana republic. To what purpose?

Now our mortgage industry is collapsing, housing prices are in free fall, major industries are failing, our banking system is on the verge of collapse, social security is nearly bankrupt, as is medicare and our entire government, our education system is worse than a joke (I teach college and know precisely what I am talking about)–the list is staggering in its length, breadth, and depth. It is potentially 1929 x ten. And we are at war with an enemy we cannot name for fear of offending people of the same religion, who cannot wait to slit the throats of your children if they have the opportunity to do so.

And now we have elected a man no one knows anything about, who has never run so much as a Dairy Queen, let alone a town as big as Wasilla, Alaska. All of his associations and alliances are with real radicals in their chosen fields of employment, and everything we learn about him, drip by drip, is unsettling if not downright scary (Surely you have heard him speak about his idea to create and fund a mandatory civilian defense force stronger than our military for use inside our borders? No? Oh of course. The media would never play that for you over and over and then demand he answer it. Sarah Palin’s pregnant daughter and $150,000 wardrobe is more imporant.)

Mr. Obama’s winning platform can be boiled down to one word: change.

Why?

I have never been so afraid for my country and for my children as I am now.

This man campaigned on bringing people together, something he has never, ever done in his professional life. In my assessment, Obama will divide us along philosophical lines, push us apart, and then try to realign the pieces into a new and different power structure. Change is indeed coming. And when it comes, you will never see the same nation again.

And that is only the beginning.

And I thought I would never be able to experience what the ordinary, moral German felt in the mid-1930s. In those times, the savior was a former smooth-talking rabble-rouser from the streets, about whom the average German knew next to nothing. What they did know was that he was associated with groups that shouted, shoved, and pushed around people with whom they disagreed; he edged his way onto the political stage through great oratory and promises. Economic times were tough, people were losing jobs, and he was a great speaker. And he smiled and waved a lot. And people, even newspapers, were afraid to speak out for fear that his “brown shirts” would bully them into submission. And then, he was duly elected to office, a full-throttled economic crisis at hand [the Great Depression]. Slowly but surely he seized the controls of government power, department by department, person by person, bureaucracy by bureaucracy. The kids joined a Youth Movement in his name, where they were taught what to think. How did he get the people on his side? He did it promising jobs to the jobless, money to the moneyless, and goodies for the military-industrial complex. He did it by indoctrinating the children, advocating gun control, health care for all, better wages, better jobs, and promising to re-instill pride once again in the country, across Europe, and across the world.

He did it with a compliant media–did you know that? And he did this all in the name of justice and . . . change. And the people surely got what they voted for.

(Look it up if you think I am exaggerating.)

Read your history books. Many people objected in 1933 and were shouted down, called names, laughed at, and made fun of. When Winston Churchill pointed out the obvious in the late 1930s while seated in the House of Lords in England (he was not yet Prime Minister), he was booed into his seat and called a crazy troublemaker. He was right, though.

Don’t forget that Germany was the most educated, cultured country in Europe. It was full of music, art, museums, hospitals, laboratories, and universities. And in less than six years–a shorter time span than just two terms of the U. S. presidency–it was rounding up its own citizens, killing others, abrogating its laws, turning children against parents, and neighbors against neighbors. All with the best of intentions, of course. The road to Hell is paved with them.

As a practical thinker, one not overly prone to emotional decisions, I have a choice: I can either believe what the objective pieces of evidence tell me (even if they make me cringe with disgust); I can believe what history is shouting to me from across the chasm of seven decades; or I can hope I am wrong by closing my eyes, having another latte, and ignoring what is transpiring around me.

Some people scoff at me, others laugh, or think I am foolish, naive, or both. Perhaps I am. But I have never been afraid to look people in the eye and tell them exactly what I believe–and why I believe it.

I pray I am wrong. I do not think I am.

I believe that at the very least a major change unlike America has ever seen is headed our way–actually is in progress–and it is not a good change.  The worst?  I don’t like to think about.

What I do want to know is where are the defenders of this country?  I have not heard much of anything from the America-respecting side of the aisle…I am talking about leaders…Republicans….Southern Democrats….where are the voices of the capitalists in the midst of our treasury handing out money to God knows whom and our government taking stakes in our industries? Where are the leaders who are students of history?  Why aren’t they speaking out against Congressional leaders who have nothing but disdain for our military, our capitalist system, and our moral traditions?

I am afraid, it is time that we, the citizens, may be all we have left.

Prairie Fire: William Ayers Weather Underground Manifesto

This follows right along with my last post about the Weather Underground’s plans to take over America and  force re-education or be exterminated.

The manifesto produced by William Ayers and his wife Bernardine Doehrn  outlines plans to seize power in a  Communist take-over of the United States.  The book is called Praire Fire: The Politics of Revolutionary Anti-Imperialism.  I recommend you read the entire summary at ZombieTime. Some excerpts:

Our job is to tap the discontent seething in many sectors of the population, to find allies everywhere people are hungry or angry, to mobilize poor and working people against imperialism.

We have an urgent responsibility: to destroy imperialism from within in order to help free the world and ourselves from its grasp.

Our final goal is the destruction of imperialism, the seizure of power, and the creation of socialism. Our strategy for this stage of the struggle is to organize the oppressed people of the imperial nation itself to join with the colonies in the attack on imperialism. This process of attacking and weakening imperialism involves the defeat of all kinds of national chauvinism and arrogance; this is a precondition to our fight for socialism.

And William Ayers definition of Socialism, with the exception of the violence so far, sounds like Democrat and Obama talking points:

Socialism is the total opposite of capitalism/imperialism. It is the rejection of empire and white supremacy. Socialism is the violent overthrow of the bourgeoisie, the establishment of the dictatorship of the proletariat, and the eradication of the social system based on profit. Socialism means control of the productive forces for the good of the whole community instead of the few who live on hilltops and in mansions. Socialism means priorities based on human need instead of corporate greed. Socialism creates the conditions for a decent and creative quality of life for all.

What other great things was this radical, terrorist group trying to achieve?

The unique and fundamental condition of this time is the decline of U.S. imperialism. Our society is in social and economic crisis and assumptions about the U.S. are turned on their heads. These are hard conditions to live through. But they are favorable for the people and for revolution.
These conditions of constant change demand the weapon of theory. Like people everywhere, we are analyzing how to bring to life the potential forces which can destroy U.S. imperialism.
We are a guerrilla organization. We are communist women and men, underground in the United States for more than four years. We are deeply affected by the historic events of our time in the struggle against U.S. imperialism.
Our intention is to disrupt the empire, to incapacitate it, to put pressure on the cracks, to make it hard to carry out its bloody functioning against the people of the world, to join the world struggle, to attack from the inside.
Our intention is to engage the enemy, to wear away at him, to harass him, to isolate him, to expose every weakness, to pounce, to reveal his vulnerability.
Our intention is to encourage the people, to provoke leaps in confidence and consciousness, to stir the imagination, to popularize power, to agitate, to organize, to join in every way possible the people’s day-to-day struggles.
Our intention is to forge an underground, a clandestine political organization engaged in every form of struggle, protected from the eyes and weapons of the state, a base against repression, to accumulate lessons, experience and constant practice, a base from which to attack.

So what does this have to do with Barack Obama….well it is well-documented that Barack Obama and Bill Ayers have ties that go back several years…..

There’s no getting around it: William Ayers was a violent communist revolutionary bent on overthrowing the government and “seizing power” in the United States. The proof is on this page. And the only difference between the 1970s William Ayers and the William Ayers whom Barack Obama associated with is a change in rhetorical style; a re-wording of his radical philosophy to make it seem more mainstream. But the underlying political thesis (i.e. communism) remains the same.

For the record, and just to be complete, here are some links documenting Obama’s many connections to William Ayers:

• Ayers and Obama worked together for years on a school reform program called the Chicago Annenberg Challenge.
• Ayers and Obama also served together on the board of the Woods Fund of Chicago, a separate charity organization.
• Obama had his political coming-out party in William Ayers’ home.
• Ayers mentions Obama by name in a book he wrote in 1997, and mentions that the two are very close neighbors.
• Obama gave a short glowing review of that same Ayers book for the Chicago Tribune.
• Obama and Ayers were both presenters together on a panel about juvenile justice (organized by Michelle Obama).
• Both Obama and Ayers were close friends with the same person, Rashid Kalidi.

There are also several unverified rumors swirling around that have not yet been documented: That Ayers may have helped to write part of Obama’s autobiography; that Ayers babysat for Obama’s children; that Obama and Ayers shared an office space together for three years, on the same floor of the same building in Chicago; and that Ayers and Obama may have known each other as far back as 1981, when both were attending adjacent schools and living in the same immediate neighborhood in New York at the exact same time.

And Ayers has NOT changed his point of view even when working with Obama.  In April, 2002, Ayers said:

I considered myself partly an anarchist then and consider myself partly an anarchist now. I mean I’m as much an anarchist as I am a Marxist…. I’m very open about what I think and nobody here is surprised by what I think.
…
Is one of those regrets that I took extreme measures against the United States at a time of tremendous crisis? No it is not. I don’t regret that. The people of the world are being exploited and oppressed and militarized by the great imperialist powers, led by the United States. That is the situation today in my view.
…
And I’m not sorry about anything that I participated to try to end that war or against that government that was waging that war.

In 2004, Ayers said:

If we were being fair and open-minded, then if you looked around at the world today, you would say the greatest purveyor of of violence, as King said, is our own government. …
…
White supremacy and racism continues to be the dagger point of American democracy. I do believe that. I believed it then, I believe it now.

In 2006,

We were anti-authoritarian, anti-orthodoxy, communist street fighters.
…
I want to embrace…draft resisters, deserters, tax avoiders…
…
If we know we hope to achieve a democratic and socialist world, a culture of life and love, our strategy and tactics are informed by filling that vision out on the ground…
…
I went to Camp Casey in August precisely because I’m an agnostic about how and where the rebellion will break out, but I know I want to be there and I know it will break out…
…
Opposing aggressive war is always urgent, but for revolutionaries we need to both be fully activated in the opposition…

And finally,

All of this is, of course, just the tip of the iceberg. To this day, nearly every word that Ayers utters and every sentence that he writes hews to the exact same communist line. You can easily find hundreds more examples yourself just by browsing through his blog or simply by Googling his name and searching for his writings and speeches, almost all of which still revolve around notions promulgated in Prairie Fire.

William Ayers is a communist. By his own description. He was a communist then, he is a communist now, and he was a communist for the entire time that Barack Obama worked with him and was associated with him.

You have to suspend a lot of rational thinking to not believe that Obama is one of two things and neither of them is good: 

1) Obama is a tool of this far-left radical fringe and, while he is bought by them, he is not aware of the extent to which these types intend to do harm, OR

2) Obama, while not exposing anything this radical so far, is a member of this belief system and plans to reconstruct this country into something Bill Ayers knows, but the rest of us Americans will not.

#1 is not likely at all….#2 is the most likely scenario considering Obama has not had any serious associations, mentors, or relationships with anyone other than radicals, Socialists, Marxists, and a domestic terrorist and his wife.   Not to mention that this manifesto, Prairie Fire, references Black Liberation Ideology …..which is exactly what Jeremiah Wright preached to Obama and his family for 20 years!
