Charles Krauthammer gave Michelle Obama high marks on delivery, but doesn’t believe a line of her speech.

Neither do I.  Actions speak much louder than words, especially where Barack Obama is concerned.

“Looking at the scene, looking at how he’s conducted himself if the presidency  and particularly campaign, with ruthlessness and determination and drive it’s  not quite a plausible story…..I’m sure in the arena it was a  plausible story. I saw the tears but I’m afraid, I thought it’s a great speech  but I didn’t buy a line of it.”

I’m sure you have all seen or heard about Clint Eastwood’s speech at the Republican National Convention (RNC) last week.

His schtick of talking to an empty chair (Obama) has sparked a new fad called “Eastwooding”.   Eastwooding is photographing an empty chair.

And impromptu movement then decided that today — September 3, 2012 — would be National Empty Chair Day.  They have asked everyone to put an empty chair on their lawn and add signs/props/etc.  that fit the image of Obama as an empty chair.

Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett spouts politics from the pulpit

Why is it that when a Democrat uses a church pulpit for politics and voter drives the Separation of Church/State crowd go silent……but when our kids say a prayer in public school, or we want a Bible in the school library,  or my pastor speak out against abortion in a pulpit —-well then the Left howls “Separation of Church and State”.

Oh and this isn’t just ANY Democrat, but Valerie Jarrett….number one friend and adviser to Obama.

The double standard is infuriating.

Allen West’s spot-on view of the Marines and the latest Taliban “incident”

I’m sure, with the orgasmic media on the issue, that almost everyone knows about the video which allegedly shows Marines urinating on the corpses of some members of the Taliban.

While I understand military conduct, or decent conduct, in general, my first reaction was “so what?”

Of course, the Obama administration has made every attempt to make self-righteous condemnations:

“Obama administration bigwigs are falling all over themselves to denounce, condemn, lament, and apologize for the unfortunate behavior of a few Marines in Afghanistan last year. Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta condemned the action as not just deplorable but “utterly deplorable.” Secretary of State Hillary Clinton expressed not just dismay but “total dismay.”……..

….And it smells of cheap self-righteousness and moral posturing from an administration that, to be honest, hasn’t devoted a whole lot of time to thanking our troops for what they’ve been doing in very difficult and dangerous circumstances.”

Obama can’t seem to muster the strength to support our troops at all times….even in the small things like having his picture made with them while in Iraq;

“He didn’t want to take pictures with any more soldiers; he was complaining about it,” a State Department official tells me. “Look, I was excited to meet him. I wanted to like him. Let’s just say the scales fell from my eyes after I did. These are people over here who’ve been fighting the war, or working every day for the war effort, and he didn’t want to take f–king pictures with them?”

But I digress…. I give you Congressman Allen West ,who says it better than anyone on the issue of the Marines and the Taliban:

“I have sat back and assessed the incident with the video of our Marines urinating on Taliban corpses. I do not recall any self-righteous indignation when our Delta snipers Shugart and Gordon had their bodies dragged through Mogadishu. Neither do I recall media outrage and condemnation of our Blackwater security contractors being killed, their bodies burned, and hung from a bridge in Fallujah.

“All these over-emotional pundits and armchair quarterbacks need to chill. Does anyone remember the two Soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division who were beheaded and gutted in Iraq?

“The Marines were wrong. Give them a maximum punishment under field grade level Article 15 (non-judicial punishment), place a General Officer level letter of reprimand in their personnel file, and have them in full dress uniform stand before their Battalion, each personally apologize to God, Country, and Corps videotaped and conclude by singing the full US Marine Corps Hymn without a teleprompter.

“As for everyone else, unless you have been shot at by the Taliban, shut your mouth, war is hell.”

Well said, Col. West, well said.

Obama bows to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia

Trojan Horse (definition):
concealed stratagem: somebody or something that is meant to disrupt, undermine, subvert, or destroy an enemy or rival, especially somebody or something that operates while concealed within an organization.

They say truth is stranger than fiction.

And as Robert Knight at the Washington Times points out, writing a novel about a President whose goal is to undermine the USA could never match the real thing we have in Barack Hussein Obama.

As we begin 2012, it is imperative that we remember the damage that this President has unleashed upon our country.  He must be removed from office….and this is the year we must do it.

Knights article is a great reminder of so many of the appalling things Obama has done in three years….for which much of the media and many Americans have given him a pass…

I was thinking about writing a novel about what might happen if a man who hates America and wants to bring it down is somehow elected president. What would he do?……

…….First, the Trojan Horse president would initiate unprecedented spending, driving the debt up by more than $4 trillion just in the first three years. Much of the money would go into the pockets of political supporters and people who donate heavily to his campaigns…….

……….(He would)  Ship hundreds of taxpayer-purchased firearms to Mexican drug gangs in order to frame law-abiding gun sellers in Texas. When the Fast and Furious weapons are used to kill U.S. and Mexican lawmen, the attorney general will pretend he didn’t know about the program until very recently and is shocked, shocked! The attorney general will claim that critics of this criminally insane policy are motivated by racial animus against him and the president. After all, this worked when anyone questioned why the president’s college and medical records were sealed or why he attended a Marxist minister’s church for 20 years and hung out with known terrorists.

He would appoint Supreme Court justices who believe in a “living Constitution,” which means they can ignore its plain meaning when it interferes with their ideological agenda.

He would stack the National Labor Relations Board with union hacks who would do unspeakable things such as order a major company (Boeing) not to open a new factory in a right-to-work state (South Carolina) in the middle of the worst recession since the Great Depression. If he got away with that, he would go ahead and strengthen a crony socialist system reminiscent of Mussolini’s Italy or Hugo Chavez’s Venezuela that subsidizes “winners” such as Solyndra.

Finally, throughout his tenure, he would employ the Marxist rhetoric of class warfare, blame “the wealthy” and make more Americans dependent on government checks. He would sucker Republican leaders into secret meetings and emerge to accuse them of wanting to raise taxes on all but the rich.

Gallup poll: 64% see big government as biggest threat to country

Obama loves to bash big corporations.  He also loves to expand government.

In Gallup’s latest poll, it appears that Obama is clearly out of touch with what Americans want.

An overwhelming 64 percent of people surveyed said big government was the biggest threat  to the country, compared to just 26 percent who said big business is their  gravest concern and 8 percent who picked big labor.

That kind of leaves a mark on Obama’s campaign plans to associate Republicans with big, BAD business and to continue his “tax the rich and everything that moves” expansion of government.

The Republican nominee would do well to hammer home just how extensively Obama has expanded government and, hopefully, what drastic measures that the GOP nominee would take to reverse it.

In his first 4 months alone as President, Obama did this:

• Continued to fast-track government control of health care with a $33 billion expansion of the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) which isn’t even limited to children and only worsened our nation’s health spending problem.
• Pushed through a $787 billion stimulus bill that essentially federalized the construction and renovation of public schools, began subsidizing health insurance for unemployed Americans regardless of income, create more than 30 new federal programs, effectively abolished the hugely successful 1996 welfare reform; and created a trillions dollars of new debt, to be dumped into the laps of our children and grandchildren.
• Passed an Omnibus spending bill that raised discretionary spending by 8%, contained 9,287 pork projects costing $13 billion, and spent $123 billion on programs for which government auditors can find no evidence of success.
• Used the $700 billion TARP slush fund to effectively nationalize General Motors, turn Chrysler over to the United Auto Workers union, and strong arm the nation’s banks into accepting taxpayer money and government control they did not want.

Obama has firmly planted government’s fingers into the healthcare of every American (if the Supreme Court and/or Congress decide for Obamacare).
The stimulus was a slush fund for Obama’s cronies and instead of creating jobs, has left us with fewer jobs and fewer people seeking work.
The Democrats have failed to pass a budget and spending by the federal government has increase significantly.

And, according to his speech in Osawatomie, Kansas this week, Obama fully plans to seek even further control of our lives and money.  From Heritage.org:

If U.S. history is a painting on a giant canvas, President Barack Obama’s speech this week in Osawatomie, Kansas, is a thick coat of whitewash layered all over it, and the failure of the last three years lies underneath. The President’s pretense is that, no, it’s not Obamanomics that has caused persistent unemployment, stunted growth and record deficits–it’s supply side economics!

Talk about audacity.

The President’s speech was a naked portrayal of his vision of America–one where inequality runs rampant, where the American dream is nearly dead, where the rich oppress the poor, where education is undervalued. As Charles Krauthammer observes this morning in The Washington Post, “That’s the kind of damning observation the opposition brings up when you’ve been in office three years.”

Indeed, what was glaringly absent from the President’s portrait was the fact that his economic policies have failed to put Americans back to work and his absolute inability to lead Washington toward combating rampant government spending. His solution, moreover, was more of the same stuff that has failed spectacularly for him: government as the great savior.

But in President Obama’s mind, it is others who offer ideas that don’t work, not him. He points to “a certain crowd in Washington” that argues for tax cuts and reduced regulations, calling it “a simple theory” that “fits well on a bumper sticker” but “has never worked.”

Obama thinks capitalism doesn’t work.  Individualism doesn’t work.  He thinks our money is his.  He panders to unions for power and he is as corrupt as they come in Washington.

Republicans are not perfect, but they better see that they must run against “big government”.  It is a winning strategy and not hard to comprehend.  The GOP better stop pandering to the “middle” and the media….and start pandering to the 64% that fear what our founders fought hard to overcome.

This whole episode with Corzine not only tells you about the corrupt ex-Governor and Senator, but also gives you an idea of both Obama’s incompetence and his corrupt ties.Never forget that Corzine is CURRENTLY one of Obama’s campaign bundlers and pulled together over $500,000 already for Obama’s 2012 campaign.  From JammieWearingFool and Washington Post (in July), Obama has called Corzine his “Wall Street Guy” and has appointed Corzine to smooth over the banking industry for re-election funds since Obama has had a heyday bashing banks for months now:

The beleaguered president has recruited former Goldman Sachs head honcho Jon Corzine to shore up re-election funds from the banking industry, which is furious over Obama’s financial regulations.

Corzine, the former governor of New Jersey who was blasted out of office by Republican Chris Christie in 2009, has attended secret meetings with the president and has been working on Obama’s 2012 campaign for months, The Post has learned.

The Democrat, who now leads Manhattan-based brokerage MF Global, has been tasked with scraping up the very little banking-industry support Obama can still get.

Corzine was once hailed by Obama as and “honorable man” and one of his “best partners”.  Corzine has also been considered as Obama’s Treasury Secretary pick in a second term, according to ABC News.

Former New Jersey governor and U.S. Sen. Jon Corzine, whom President Obama once hailed as an “honorable man” and one of his “best partners” in the White House, has been subpoenaed to testify before Congress about his role in the collapse of the investment firm MF Global.

Corzine was chairman and CEO of the company between March 2010 and Oct. 31, 2011, when it filed for bankruptcy.  An estimated $1.2 billion has not been accounted for, leaving many investor accounts drained.  The FBI and Justice Department are also investigating the case.

The unanimous, bipartisan vote today to require Corzine to appear before the House Agriculture Committee next week sets the stage for tough questioning of one of the president’s top re-election campaign fundraisers and a man who had, until recently, been considered a top pick for Treasury Secretary in a possible second Obama term.

Yet, this “honorable man”, Obama campaign money-handler, and potential Treasury overseer, picked by Obama, headed up MF Global for a meer 19 months and now can’t account for $1.2 billion of company funds.

In testimony prepared for delivery to Congress on Thursday, Corzine says he was “stunned” to learn shortly before the firm sought bankruptcy protection at the end of October that MF Global could not account for the money.

“I simply do not know where the money is, or why the accounts have not been reconciled to date,” the former MF Global chief executive says, according to the testimony.

Corruption runs deep around Obama and within the Democratic party.  I hope Corzine gets what is coming to him.
And Obama, should return all of the 2012 campaign funds received directly from Corzine and those bundled by Corzine.
