Hitler Youth Program coming to an American town near you soon?

First, Obama and his Socialist friends in Washington have taken away the American Dream from my (and your) children and strapped trillions of dollars of debt on their shoulders….

Now they think they will get their hands on my kids for mandatory Leftist indoctrination sans any religion?  Over my dead body, literally….NO WAY IN HELL!

For starters, let review what candidate Obama had to say on the campaign trail ( and you 52%-ers thought he was just kidding...oh you cards):

And now?  HOUSE PASSES (perhaps MANDATORY?) VOLUNTEERISM BILL FOR YOUTH—SENATE WORKING ON THEIR VERSION OF THE BILL.   Guess there is no question Comrade Obama will be more than happy to sign if passed in the Senate.

From InfoWars.com via Gateway Pundit:

The Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act, known as the GIVE Act, was passed yesterday by a 321-105 margin and now goes to the Senate.

Under section 6104 of the bill, entitled “Duties,” in subsection B6, the legislation states that a commission will be set up to investigate, “Whether a workable, fair, and reasonable mandatory service requirement for all able young people could be developed, and how such a requirement could be implemented in a manner that would strengthen the social fabric of the Nation and overcome civic challenges by bringing together people from diverse economic, ethnic, and educational backgrounds.”

UPDATE from SRT: Apparently the final HOUSE bill did not include this section 6104 above, but was included in earlier versions of the bill.  The fact remains that someone in Congress deemed it necessary to include this section AND we will have to wait to see what language makes it into the SENATE version and what the final bill sent to Obama includes.

You know I will give you a lesson or two, Mr. Hussein Obama and Congressional animals, on how to strengthen the social fabric of this Nation….and it won’t cost a taxpayer dime, nor the minds of our children.

How to strengthen the fabric of our Nation in a few easy steps (No Hitler Youth required) by Sharp Right Turn:

  • Stop abortion
  • Punish criminals to the full extent of the law
  • Deport illegal aliens
  • Stop trying to legalize law breakers for your own gain at the voter booth
  • Condemn homosexuality and other sexually deviant behaviors as the pervsersion they are
  • Protect marriage between a man and a woman
  • Stop prohibiting the “Free exercise of religion”
  • Stop suppressing our free speech
  • End illegal and exorbitant taxation on the American people
  • Let parents raise their children…keep your slimy paws off of our kids…PERIOD
  • Stop taking our hard earned money to keep your power
  • Stop spending money the government doesn’t have and has no business spending
  • Stop bailing out irresponsible people and businesses
  • Stop suppressing the will of our country’s individuals with overreaching welfare dollars and plans
  • Stop invoking race to create division among citizens

More from Gateway Pundit:

Section 120 of the bill also discusses the “Youth Engagement Zone Program” and states that “service learning” will be “a mandatory part of the curriculum in all of the secondary schools served by the local educational agency”.

“The legislation, slated to cost $6 billion over five years, would create 175,000 “new service opportunities” under AmeriCorps, bringing the number of participants in the national volunteer program to 250,000. It would also create additional “corps” to expand the reach of volunteerism into new sectors, including a Clean Energy Corps, Education Corps, Healthy Futures Corps and Veterans Service Corps, and it expands the National Civilian Community Corps to focus on additional areas like disaster relief and energy conservation,” reports Fox News.

From a commenter at Gateway Pundit:

“There is even a provision in the bill for uniforms.”

Not to be outdone by Hitler of course!

You may recall that some minds are already in the creepy phase of indoctrination:

(I had inserted a video of children singing their hearts out toward Obama, but apparently it has permissions on the video now….click link just above for info on these kids singing)

And some have already been mashed to mush in honor of Comrade Obama:

But that’s not all — this House Bill specifically dedicates many words to the complete absence of religion and pseudo absence of free speech for those youth who are forced volunteer:

SEC. 125. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES AND INELIGIBLE ORGANIZATIONS.

(a) Prohibited Activities- A participant in an approved national service position under this subtitle may not engage in the following activities:

(1) Attempting to influence legislation.

(2) Organizing or engaging in protests, petitions, boycotts, or strikes.

(7) Engaging in religious instruction, conducting worship services, providing instruction as part of a program that includes mandatory religious instruction or worship, constructing or operating facilities devoted to religious instruction or worship, maintaining facilities primarily or inherently devoted to religious instruction or worship, or engaging in any form of religious proselytization.

A reminder, again, from a commenter at Gateway Pundit…this is entirely unconstitutional:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion,
or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;
or abridging the freedom of speech,
or of the press;
or the right of the people peaceably to assemble,
and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

In the famous words of Joe Biden, “Gird you loins” people…..we are in the fight of our lives, and, unfortunately, many of those we would normally consider on our side are not (ie silence of Republicans in Congress…some in the House even voted for the pile of crap).

Heil Hitler....Hitler Youth

  1. I do not want my children being forced to serve. I don’t care if they do call it voluntary.. it is NOT.

  2. SRT,
I wrote an article concerning this during the campaign and it was amazing at the flk I caught over it. Some of the commentators on that article thought I was completely off the wall because I didn’t want my children to be forced to give community service. They said it would make me and my children better human beings if we would stop thinking about just ourselves. If this legislation is passed, the results will be something entirely different than they are telling us up front.

  3. Why is it nessecary to waste government money on this when we all ready have the Scouts and other great, truely volunteer activities? I weep for our future children.

  4. SRT, what you outlined above sounds like general, genuine conservative principles. If all our elected Republican officials could stand up for their ideals, maybe we would have a hope of stopping this communistic/socialistic journey. Now, as for me, still trying to figure out how a volunteer program can be mandatory. Kind of like Pelosi being bipartisan??? BHO being honest??? Spector voting conservative? Biden making sense? Geithner solving a tax issue???

  7. If it’s “mandatory”, does it even count in our favor as service? This sounds like something that would fly in China or Russia, but not here – this is not what our nation was established for. Not to mention that our first amendment rights would not stand when our children are “serving”.

  8. Outstanding info. Will visit once more.

  9. It appears to have many benefits, particularly for disadvantaged and previously excluded minorities. Unfortunately many of these programs are run in rotc like scandalous fashion (teachforamerica, americorps, learn and serve, etc). For those who enjoy being led about like sheep and working long hard hours cowboys, it works; the setting is akin to corporate model brainwashing. For those out to experience and enjoy life; beware this is deadly sanctimonious tracking system. There is no room for individualism whatsoever. An L&S person came to speak at our school and it was very clear that it does not intend to allow, but rather control all participation.

  10. To attract interest in the Community Based Learning seminar they offered $750 per first 15 professors. None for students. The appeal to authority was heightenned by requiring CVs with applications and practicing a parochial attitude particularly towards the one graduate student. The atmosphere became increasingly rigid and stultifying over the next 4 days. I never saw a set of faculty themselves acted so bloated and full of themselves (encouraged by the leaders appeal to their “authority” as potential Learn and Serve partners). The L&S director was extremely condescending and ranted on and on without any sense of egalitarian awareness of her audience. On the last day after her long boring recycled powerpoint, the same one as days before, she surprised us with a draft crew of 25 “successful” graduates from other universities and we were confronted with the task of getting to know who they in a gauntlet square. There is no doubt that this will turn into small time turf wars with new administrative positions mushrooming outwards in favor of nepotism and creating preferences that will heavily disfavor self-innovative entrepeneurial types as they will be forced to “conform” robostyle fashion in the new world order. Incidentally, a good portion of the favored CBOs are covert money laundering operations.

  11. I don’t agree that training youth and providing them with discipline makes them praisers of a demogogue.
Don’t make something positive into a negative.

If people would listen to an entire presentation rather than taking something parts of it (as we have seen happen lately.) we would not be spreading fear.
I respect your views but leave the scare tactics out.
I think you can be more positive especially if we share names.
